MCPD Arrest Report 8/16/2019
Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 54 calls of service. The following person(s) were arrested as the result beginning on 08/15/2019:
Brandon James Martin, 33 years of age, Address-Railroad Ave., Morgan City, La was arrested on 8/15/2019 @ 3:13 A.M.
Charge: Unauthorized Entry of Inhabited Dwelling
Possession of Methamphetamine (2-28 grams)
Possession of Anabolic Steroids
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Violation of uniform CDS - Drug-Free Zone
The Morgan City Police Department responded to a burglary in progress call on Clements St. Upon officers arrival, they located Brandon J. Martin on the property. Officers learned Brandon Martin had been removed from the property a few days earlier. During the Officers investigation, they learned Martin entered the residence without permission. He was found in possession of suspected Methamphetamine, Anabolic Steroids, and Drug Paraphernalia. Martin was located within a posted drug-free zone. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Gary J. Johnson, 44 years of age, Address-Egle St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 8/15/2019 @ 8:08 A.M.
Charge: Possession of Methamphetamine (2-28 grams)
The Morgan City Police Department received a call of a suspicious person on North Third St. Upon officers arrival, they located Gary Johnson matching the description. While officers were speaking to Johnson they observed he was attempted to conceal a small plastic bag in his mouth. Officers were eventually able to retrieve the plastic bag containing suspected Methamphetamine. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Brittan Michael Boudreaux, 34 years of age, Address-Elizabeth St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 8/15/2019 @ 6:50 P.M.
Charge: Warrants-Failure to Appear (18 Counts)
Brittan M. Boudreaux was located at St. Mary Law Enforcement Center and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking on outstanding warrants held by City Court of Morgan City. He was booked and incarcerated.
Timothy Collier, 20 years of age, Address-Apple St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 8/15/2019 @ 6:50 P.M.
Charge: Warrants-Failure to Appear (9 Counts)
Timothy Collier was located at St. Mary Law Enforcement Center and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking on outstanding warrants held by City Court of Morgan City. He was booked and incarcerated.
