Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 72-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded 99 to calls for service. The following person(s) were arrested as a result beginning on 09/13/2019:
John May Jr. , 29 years of age, West Park Rd, Morgan City, La was arrested on 09/13/2019 at 8:49 am
Charges: Warrant: Possession with intent to distribute Schedule II CDS (Methamphetamine)
Warrant: Probhibited Acts-Schedule II CDS- Counterfeit CDS
May was arrested after being located in the Patterson Police Department and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking. The warrants stemmed from a December 2018 investigation where May was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and counterfeit methamphetamine. May was booked into the Morgan City Police Department Jail.
Rebecca Martin, 47 years of age, Terrebonne St. Morgan City, La was arrested on 09/13/2019 at 9:10 am
Charges: Warrant: City Court of Morgan City -Probation Violation
Warrant: City Court of Morgan City-Contempt of Court
Martin was arrested after an officer learned that she had warrants from City Court of Morgan City. Martin was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking.
Amanda Eues, 41 years of age, 4th St. Berwick, La was arrested on 09/13/2019 at 10:27 am

Spencer Aucoin II, West Side Lane, Amelia, La was arrested on 09/13/2019 at 4:42 pm
Charges: Nonconsensual disclosure of private Images( 7 counts)
Eues and Aucoin were arrested at the Morgan City Police Department on warrants for Nonconsensual disclosure of private images. The warrants stemmed from an investigation into images which were sent to several other subjects over the internet. Both Eues and Aucoin were booked into the Morgan City Police Department Jail.
Eric Frentz, 38 years of age, Pecan Lane, Patterson, La was arrested on 09/13/2019 at 2:52 pm
Charges: No Insurance
Driving under suspension
An officer in the are of Pine St. noticed a vehicle with tail light blinking. The officer stopped the vehicle and spoke with the driver identified as Erick Frentz. Frentz was found to have a suspended drivers license and the vehicle was not insured. Frentz was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking.

Possession of Alcoholic Beverages in a vehicle
Speeding
An officer on Hwy 70 noticed a vehicle cross over the center line several times while following behind him. The officer attempted to stop the vehicle at which time the driver refused. The officer continued to attempt to stop the driver who finally stopped after several miles. The officer with the assistance of St. Martin Parish Sheriffs Office contacted the driver and placed him under arrest. The driver was found to have an open alcoholic beverage in his vehicle. The driver identified as Chris Sauce was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking.
Britten Businell, 36 years of age, Wheelis Ln, Morgan City, La was arrested on 09/14/2049 at 4:49 am
Charges: Possession of Marijuana (Less than 14 grams)
An officer working an off duty detail could smell an odor of burnt marijuana after a car pulled up. The officer spoke with the driver Britten Businelle who admitted that he had marijuana in his vehicle. The suspected marijuana was recovered and Businelle was placed under arrest, he was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking.
Jewel Ross, 35 years of age, North Verret St. Amelia, La was arrested on 09/15/2019 at 2:04 am
Charges: Warrant: Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Ross was arrested after an officer saw her walking on Hwy 182 and knew of outstanding warrants for her. Ross was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking.
Savana White, 20 years of age, Aristle Rd, Morgan City, La was arrested on 09/16/2019 at 3:00 am
Charges: Warrant: City Court of Morgan City FTA for Possession of Marijuana 2ed
Warrant: City Court of Morgan FTA for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
White was arrested after being brought to the Morgan City Police Department for Housing in the jail. White was found to have warrants from City Court of Morgan City for Failure to Appear. White was booked in the Morgan City Police Department jail.
