MCPD Arrest Report 9/18/2019
Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 34 calls of service. The following person(s) were arrested as the result beginning on 09/17/2019:
Reandra Wenndresse Taylor, 31 years of age, Address-Garber St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 9/17/2019 @ 7:34 A.M.
Charge: Turn Signal Violation
General Speed Law
No Motor Vehicle Insurance
No Proof of Vehicle Registration
Expired Motor Vehicle Inspection Sticker
No Child Restraint (2 Counts)
Warrants: Failure to Appear (3 Counts)
An officer observed a vehicle committed several traffic violations in the area of Justa St. and Highway 182 and conducted a traffic stop. The driver was identified as Reandra W. Taylor. During the traffic stop the officer observed two small children in the vehicle without child restraints, The officer also observed the motor vehicle inspection sticker was expired. Taylor could not provide proof of insurance or vehicle registration. A computer check revealed the vehicle was uninsured. A warrants check revealed the City Court of Morgan City held active warrants for her arrest. She was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
