MCPD Arrest Report 10/2/2019
Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 46 calls of service. The following person(s) were arrested as the result beginning on 10/2/2019:
Scott A Barbier, 49 years of age, Address-Florence St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 10/1/2019 @ 9:30 A.M.
Charge: Disturbing the Peace
Officers were called to a Florence St. residence for a disturbance. Upon officer's arrival, they learned from several witnesses that Scott Barbier was causing a disturbance. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Atlas White, 27 years of age, Address-Oil Tank Alley, Morgan City, La., was arrested on 10/1/2019 @ 3:16 P.M.
Charge: Warrant-Simple Assault
Atlas White was located at the Morgan City Police Department and placed under arrest on a warrant held by the Morgan City Police Department. He was booked and incarcerated.
Nikke Rene Mayon, 37 years of age, Address-Highway 182, Morgan City, La., was arrested on 10/1/2019 @ 8:42 P.M.
Charge: Theft under $1,000.00
Officers were called to a local business on Seventh St.in reference to a person shoplifting. When officers arrived they observed a female matching the description running from the business. Officers were able to detain and identify the female as Nikki R. Mayon. Mayon was found to have several items that were stolen from the business concealed on her person valued at $12.51. She was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department.
