Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded 46 to calls for service. The following person(s) were arrested as a result beginning on 10/03/2019:
Stephanie Harvey, 40 years of age, Cane St. Morgan City, LA was arrested on 10/03/2019 at 8:30 am
Charges: Warrant: Automobile Insurance Fraud
Warrant: Theft between 5,000 and 25,000
Harvey who was already incarcerated in the Morgan City Police Department jail was booked on warrants from the Louisiana State Police. Harvey remains incarcerated in the Morgan City Police Department Jail.
Caleb Givens, 18 years of age, Kidd St. Morgan City, LA was arrested on 10/03/2019 at 8:40 am
Charges: Warrant: FTA for Trial on Resisting an officer (City Court of Morgan City)
Warrant: FTA for Trial on Disturbing the Peace(City Court of Morgan City)

Warrant: Felony Carnal Knowledge of a Juvenile
Givens was located at the St. Mary Parish Jail and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking. The warrant for Felony Carnal Knowledge of a Juvenile stemmed from an investigation by Morgan City Police Detectives into inappropriate contact with a juvenile. Givens was booked into the Morgan City Police Department Jail.
Austin Guarisco, 26 years of age, Arenz St. Morgan City, LA was arrested on 10/03/2019 at 8:40 am

Warrant: Possession of Sch I CDS (Heroin)
Warrant: Possession of Sch II CDS( Methamphetamine)
Warrant: Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Warrant: Illegal use of CDS in presence of a Juvenile
Warrant: Possession of a firearm in presence of CDS
Warrant: Violation of CDS Law-Drug Free Zone
Warrant: Possession of Sch III(Subutex)
Guarisco was located at the St. Mary Parish Jail and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking on warrants which stemmed from a September 11, 2019 investigation of a medical emergency. While at the residence officers located suspected illegal drugs which led officers to apply for a search warrant of the residence. During the search warrant officers located other illegal items. Guarisco was booked into the Morgan City Police Department Jail.
Dezzie Booty, 40 years of age, Maple St. Morgan City, LA was arrested on 10/03/2019 at 3:00 pm.

Abshire turned himself in to officers at the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked on a warrant for Reckless Operation of a vehicle from September 5, 2019. The warrant stemmed from an incident at a local Railroad Ave. business where Abshire was identified as the driver of a vehicle.
Raven Burise, 28 years of age, Taft St. Patterson, LA was arrested on 10/04/2019 at 4:30 am
Charge: Possession of Marijuana 1st Offense
Burise was arrested after officers were called to a local hotel by employees about illegal drug activity. Offices located Burise and during the investigation found suspected marijuana. Burise was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking
