MCPD Arrest Report 10/14/2019

Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 36-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 102 calls of service. The following person(s) were arrested as the result beginning on 10/11/2019:
Mark Broussard Jr

Mark Broussard Jr., 29 years of age, Address-Vivan St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 10/11/2019 @ 10:43 P.M. 

Charge: Possession of Methamphetamine (Less than 2 Grams)
               Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 
Warrants-Failure to Appear (3 Counts)

Officers were called to a local business on Roderick St. in reference to Mark Broussard being at the location with active warrants for his arrest. The responding officers verified City Court of Morgan City held two active warrants and the 16th District Court held an active warrant for his arrest. When officers arrived, they located Broussard and placed him under arrest. During the arrest, he was located in possession of suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. He was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration. 
rudbin maldonado

Rudbin Maldonado, 33 years of age, Address-Lake Palourde, Morgan City, La., was arrested on 10/11/2019 @ 11:33 P.M. 

Charge: Careless operation
               No Driver's License
               Resisting an officer -False Information 
               Driving While Intoxicated (1st Offense) 

An officer on patrol observed a traffic violation in the area of Railroad Ave. and Roderick St. The officer conducted a traffic stop and later identified the driver as Rudbin Maldonado. During the initial traffic stop, Maldonado advised the officer he did not have a valid driver's license and gave a false name. During the traffic stop, the officer suspected driver impairment. A Standardized Field Sobriety Test was given and Maldonado did poorly on the test. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department. Once at the Morgan City Police Department Maldonado submitted a breath sample into the Intoxilyzer of .156g% He was booked and incarcerated.


Michael Edward Bray, 60 years of age, Address-Julia St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 10/12/2019 @ 11:38 A.M. 

Charge: Warrant-Failure to Appear (2 Counts)

An officer came into contact with Michael E. Bray on Railroad Ave. A local warrants check revealed City Court to Morgan City held active warrants for his arrest. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration. 

Natalie Rae Lowe, 30 years of age, Address- Olympe Drive, Houma, La., was arrested on 10/12/2019 @ 6:40 P.M. 

Charge: Warrant-Failure to Appear

Natalie R. Lowe turned herself into the Morgan City Police Department on an active warrant held by the City Court of Morgan City. She was booked and incarcerated. 
devin Troulliet

Devin A. Troulliet, 23 years of age, Address-Eighth St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 10/12/2019 @ 9:50 P.M. 

Charge: Aggravated Assault

Officers were called to a residence on Eighth St in reference to a disturbance. When officers arrived they learned the victim and Devin Troulliet were involved in an argument. During the argument, Troulliet produced a handgun and pointed at the victim. Officers were able to located Troulliet on the property along with a handgun. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

James Michael Murray, 31 years of age, Address-Highway 182, Morgan City, La., on 10/12/2019 @ 11:32 P.M. 

Charge: Possession of Stolen Things Under ($1,000.00)

Officers were called to the area of Highway 182 to investigate the sale of an item that was suspected to been stolen. During the course of the officer's investigation, it was learned the original suspect of the theft had sold the item to another person.  James M. Murry was identified as the person that had sold the stolen item. He was located on HWY 182 and placed under arrest. He was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
