MCPD Arrest Report 11/4/2019
Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 72-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 113 calls of service. The following person(s) were arrested as the result beginning on 11/1/2019:
Traylon Anthony Grogan, 27 years of age, Address-Wren St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 11/1/2019 @ 10:24 P.M.
Warrant: Failure to Appear
Officers came into contact with Traylon A. Grogan at a local business on Highway LA 70. A warrants check revealed City Court of Morgan City held an active warrant. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Jason James Ashley, 31 years of age, Address-Iberia St., Franklin, La., was arrested on 11/2/2019 @ 10:00 P.M.
Warrant: Failure to Appear (2 Counts)
Jason J. Ashley was turned over to the Morgan City Police Department by a Bonding Recovering Agency. Ashley failed to appear on his court dates for City Court of Morgan City and the 16th District Court. He was booked and incarcerated.
Brandon Michael Delozier, 32 years of age, Address-Cypress St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 11/2/2019 @ 11:18 A.M.

An officer patrolling the area of Highway 182 and Cottonwood St. observed a traffic violation and conducted a traffic stop. The driver was identified as Brandon M. Delozier. During the traffic stop, the officer detected the odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle. During the officer's investigation, Selozier was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Alysha M Carlton, 29 years of age, Address-Laverna St., Gonzales, La., was arrest on 11/3/2019 @ 11:16 A.M.
Charge: Theft under $1,000.00
Jessica Bourgeois Hue, 37 years of age, Address-Andras St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 11-3-2019 @ 11:45 A.M.
Charge: Possession of Marijuana (2nd Offense)
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Officers were called to a local business on Seventh St. about two individuals who appear to be under the influence of an illegal narcotic. When the officers arrived they came into contact with Alysha A Carlton and Jessia Bourgeois Hue who appear to be under the influence. During the officer's investigation, Carlton was found to have stolen merchandise and concealed it in her purse. The stolen item was valued at $8.70. Additionally, Hue was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia. They were both placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration
Nathaniel Lawerence Wicks, 21 years of age, Address-Hiden Acres St., Houma, La., was arrested on 11/3/2019 @ 5:46 P.M.

Austin Cole Williams, 20 years of age, Address-Egle St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 11/3/2019 @ 5:46 P.M.
Charge: Possession of Marijuana ( 1st Offense)
The Morgan City Police Department received a call about a reckless driver in the area of Highway LA 70 near the intersection of U.S. 90. Officers responding to the call located the vehicle on U.S. 90 traveling west. Upon the officer locating the vehicle, the officer also observed several traffic violations while attempting to stop the vehicle. Upon conducting a traffic stop the driver was identified as Nathaniel L Wicks along with a passenger, Austin C. Williams. During the traffic stop, both Wicks and Williams were found to be in possession of suspected synthetic marijuana. They were placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Robert S. Rotolo, 43 years of age, Address-Rosemary St., Patterson, La., were arrested on 11/3/2019 @ 7:24 P.M.
Charge: Domestic Abuse Battery
Scarlette Marie Burkart, 38 years of age, Address-Park Road, Morgan City, La. was arrested on 11/3/2019 @ 7:24 P.M.
Charge: Domestic Abuse Battery
Officers were called to a Park Road address about a domestic disturbance. When officers arrived they came into contact with Robert S. Rotolo and Scarlett M. Burkart. During the officer's investigation, it was learned that Rotolo and Burkart were involved in a dating relationship and had committed a battery on one another. Officers observed signs of a battery on both Rotolo and Scarlett. They were both placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Louis Alton Bourque, 33 years of age, Address-Onstead St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 11/4/2019 @ 12:47 A.M.

Warrant: Criminal Neglect of Family
Officers were called to investigate a complaint of a disturbance at a residence on Onsteat St. While officers were responding to the complaint, the Morgan City Police Department received a second call identifying Louis A. Bourgue as the person causing the disturbance. Officers were informed Bourque had fled the area headed toward Berwick, La. Officers from Berwick Police Department were able to Bourque traveling on U.S. 90. When officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop, the vehicle fled from officers. Bourque traveled to Bayou Vista before turning around headed back toward Morgan City. Officers were able to pursue Bourque back into Morgan City as the traveled to an address on Walnut Dr. and finally surrendered to officers. A warrant check revealed 16th District Court held an active warrant. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Kentrell Francis Diggs, 27 years of age, Address-Opelousas St., Donaldsonville, La., was arrested on 11/4/2019 @ 2:23 a.m.
Warrant: Probation Violation

Officers came into contact with Kentrell Diggs on Brashear Ave. A warrants check revealed the City Court of Morgan City held active warrants for his arrest. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
