MCPD Arrest Report 11/12/2019
Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 39 calls of service. The following person(s) were arrested as the result beginning on 11/11/2019:
Jordan Granger, 30 years old, Address-Everett St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 11/11/2019 @ 11:14 A.M.
Warrants: Theft under $1,000.00
Failure to Appear (4 Counts)
Jordan Granger was located at St. Mary Law Enforcement Center and placed under arrest on active warrants held by City Court of Morgan City. He was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Amber Lee Lovell, 32 years of age, Address-Rose St., Berwick, La., was arrested on 11/11/2019 @ 3:00 P.M.
Warrants: Failure to Appear (2 Counts)
Amber Lovel was located at the Morgan City Police Department and placed under arrest on active warrants held by the City Court of Morgan City. She was booked and incarcerated.
Renata Jolene Harris, 39 years of age, Address-Bush St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 11/11/2019 @ 3:17 P.M.

Failure to Appear (3 Counts)
An officer on patrol came into contact with Renata Harris on Highway LA 70 and Victor II Blvd. A warrants check revealed the City Court of Morgan City held active warrants for her arrest. She was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Taurino Olivares Flores, 51 years of age, Address-Beadle St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 11/11/2019 @ 3:46 P.M.

Driving while Intoxicated
Disturbing the Peace Intoxicated
Officers were called to the area of Highway 182 and Florence St. to investigate a two-vehicle crash. When officers arrived on the scene, they came into contact with Taurino Flores. It was learned he was driving in a reckless manner and crashed into a second vehicle. Officers observed he was in an intoxicated condition. Witnesses advised after the crash, Flores caused a disturbance at the scene of the accident prior to the officers arriving. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department. Once at the Morgan City Police Department he was giving an intoxilyzer test. He submitted a breath sample of .231g%. He was booked and incarcerated.
David J. Hebert, 35 years of age, Address- Shell Beach Rd, Morgan City, La., was arrested on 11/11/2019 @ 8:15 P.M.
Charge: Improper Display of License Plate
Possession Methamphetamine
An officer on patrol observed a traffic violation in the area of Clothilde St. and Highway LA 70. The officer conducted a traffic stop and identified the driver as David J. Hebert. During the traffic stop, David Hebert was found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine. He was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Matthew James Miller, 25 years of age, Address-Marshall St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 11/11/2019 @ 10:51 P.M.
Charge: Disturbing the Peace
Officers were called to a Marshall St. for a disturbance. When officers arrived, they learned Matthew Miller came to the residence causing a disturbance. Officers were able to locate Miller in the area and place him under arrest. He was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
