MCPD Arrest Report 12/6/2019
Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 30 calls of service. The following person(s) were arrested as the result beginning on 12/5/2019:
Lorena Tirado Miranda, 31 years of age, Address-Patton St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 12/5/2019 @ 9:31 A.M.
Charge: No Driver's License
Warrant: No Driver's License
An officer on patrol observed Lorena Tirado Miranda driving in the area of Sixth St. and General McArthur St. The officer had knowledge the Morgan City Police Department held an active warrant for her arrest. A traffic stop was conducted and a computer check revealed Miranda did not have a valid driver's license. She was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City for booking and incarceration.
Carlon James Gonsoulin, 30 years of age, Address-Garber St, Morgan City, La., was arrested on 12/5/2019 @ 12:37 P.M.
Warrant: Battery of a Dating Partner
Warrant: Aggravated Battery
Officers responding to a complaint on Garber St. came into contact with Carlon James Gonsoulin. A warrant check revealed the Morgan City Police Department held two separated active warrants for his arrest.
On April 24, 2019, the Morgan City Police Department responded to a domestic battery complaint. A warrant was obtained for his arrest stemming from the complaint.
On May 5, 2019, officers responded to a disturbance complaint. When officers arrived they learned Consoulin had recently committed a battery on a victim with a weapon. A warrant was obtained for his arrest stemming from the complaint.
He was placed under arrest on the active warrants and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Danielle Cronier, 29 years of age, Address-Saturn Rd., Bayou Vista, La., was arrested on 12/5/2019 @ 3:37 P.M.
Charges: Disturbing the Peace
Possession of Marijuana (1st Offense)
Possession of Schedule II CDS (Methamphetamine 2-28 grams)
Possession of Schedule II CDS (Vyvanse)
Possession of Schedule IV Alprazolam)
Possession of Schedule IV Clonazepam)
Possession of Schedule II (Cocaine)
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Violation of Uniform CDS Drug-Free Zone
Officers were called to a local business on Victor II Blvd for a disturbance. When officers arrived, they were advised Danielle Cronier was in the store causing a disturbance. Officers were able to locate Cronier in the parking lot. During the investigation, she was found to be in possession of Marijuana, Cocaine, Methamphetamine, Vyvanse, Alprazolam, Clonazepam, and Drug Paraphernalia within a posted drug-free zone. She was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
