MCPD Arrest Report 1/22/2020
Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 21 calls of service. The following person(s) were arrested as the result beginning on 01/21/2020:
Colin Mykel Finney, 29 years of age, Address-Amelia St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 1/20/2020 at 2:57 P.M.
Charge: Possession of Marijuana
Officers were called to an Amelia St. residence for a 911 hang-up call. When responding officers arrived, they came into contact with Colin M. Finney. During the investigation, officers could detect the smell of suspected marijuana. Finney was found to have suspected marijuana in his possession. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Matthew John Griffin, 18 years of age, Address-Walnut Dr., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 1/21/2020 at 12:40 P.M.
Warrant: Simple Burglary
Detectives with the Terrebonne Sheriff's Office contacted Detectives with the Morgan City Police Department, requesting assistance in an active burglary investigation. Terrebonne investigators developed Matthew J Griffin as a suspect in a business burglary in their jurisdiction. Investigators from Terrebonne Sheriff's Office and Morgan City Police Department came into contact with Griffin at this residence on Vine Dr. During the investigation, items related to the burglary were recovered in his possession. An arrest warrant was obtained by Terrebonne Investigators. Griffin was placed under arrest and booked into the Morgan City Police Department. He was later transferred to the Terrebonne Detention Center.
Miguel Angel Galeas, 30 years of age, Address-Brashear Ave., was arrested on 1/21/2020 at 3:25 P.M.
Warrant: Failure to Appear
Miguel A. Galeas was transferred from St. Mary Law Enforcement Center and booked on an active warrant held by City Court of Morgan City. He was booked and incarcerated.
Randy G. Clark, 33 years of age, Address-11th St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 1/21/2020 at 10:13 P.M.
Warrant: Contempt of Court
Officers located Randy Clark on 11th St. in Morgan City on an active warrant held by City Court of Morgan City. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Alita M Tabb, 20 years of age, Address-Deslignes Rd., Baldwin, La., was arrested on 1/22/2020 at 7:50 A.M.
Warrant: Contempt of Court (2 counts)
Alita M. Tabb was transferred from St. Mary Law Enforcement Center and booked on active warrants held by City Court of Morgan City. She was booked and incarcerated.
