Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 20 calls of service. The following person(s) were arrested as the result beginning on 01/23/2020:
Dayton Madison, 24 years of age, Address-Highway 182, Jeanerette, La., was arrested on 1/23/2020 at 10:30 A.M.
Warrant: Failure to Appear (5 Counts)
Dayton Madison was transported from St. Mary Law Enforcement Center and booked on active warrants for City Court of Morgan City. He was incarcerated at the Morgan City Police Department.
Christine Maria Stoute, 44 years of age, Address-Roderick St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 1/23/2020 at 11:25 A.M.
Warrant: Failure to Appear
Christine M. Stoute turned herself into the Morgan City Police Department on an active warrant held by the City Court of Morgan City. She was booked and incarcerated.
Eric Gaskins, 49 years of age, Address-Apple St., Morgan City, La. was arrested on 1/23/2020 at 1:33 P.M.
Charge: Possession of Synthetic Marijuana
Warrant: Theft
No Driver's License

Detectives with the Morgan City Police Department came into contact with Eric Gaskins in the area of Sixth and Brashear Ave. A warrant check revealed the Morgan City Police Department held an active warrant for his arrest. During the arrest, Detectives located suspected synthetic marijuana in Gaskins possession. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Odie Guillory Nadar, 37 years of age, Address-Highway 70, Morgan City, La. was arrested on 1/23/2020 at 5:30 P.M.
Warrant: Failure to Appear
Odie G. Nadar was transported from St. Mary Law Enforcement Center and booked on active warrants for City Court of Morgan City. She was incarcerated at the Morgan City Police Department.
