Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 42 calls of service. The following person(s) were arrested as the result beginning on 01/28/2020:
Jeremy Jamal Andrews, 32 years of age, Address-Shaw Drive, Morgan City, La., was arrested on 1/28/2020 at 1:37 P.M.
Warrant: Contempt of Court
Jeremy Jamal Andrews was located and placed under arrest at the Morgan City Police Department on an active warrant held by City Court of Morgan City. He was booked and incarcerated.
Dayton Madison, 24 years of age, Address-Highway 182, Jeanerette, La., was arrested on 1/28/2020 at 1:46 P.M.
Warrant: Contempt of Court
Dayton Madison was located and placed under arrest at the Morgan City Police Department on an active warrant held by City Court of Morgan City. He was booked and incarcerated.
Deirdre L. Martin, 43 years of age, address: Prarie Rd. Franklin, La., arrested on 1/28/2020 at 1:50 P.M.
Charges: Simple Battery
Odie Guillory Nadar, 37 years of age, Address-Highway 70, Morgan City, La. was arrested on 1/28/2020 at 1:50 P.M.
Warrant: Simple Battery
Correctional Officers were alerted to a fight between two inmates being housed at the Morgan City Police Department Correctional Facility. During the investigation, Correctional Officers discovered Deirdre Martin and Odie Nador had committed a battery on one another during an altercation. Both, Martin and Nadar were booked and incarcerated.
