Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 37-calls of service. The following person(s) were arrested as the result beginning on 6/23/2020
Kyler Anthony Ross, 33 years of age, Address-Lawrence St., Morgan City, LA, was arrested on 6/23/2020 at 11:06 A.M.
Charge: Criminal Damage to Property less than $1,000.00
Warrant: Failure to Appear (9 Counts)
Kearsten Richard, 20 years of age, address-Morgan City, La, was arrested on 6/23/2020 at 11:18 A.M.
Charge: Criminal Damage to Property less than $1,000.00
Officers were called to an address on Brashear Ave. for a disturbance. Upon the officer's arrival, they learned Kyler Ross and Kearsten Richard had damaged property at the address. A warrant check revealed the City Court of Morgan City held active warrants for Kyler Ross arrest. Both Ross and Richard were placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Shanika Shantle Guidry, 38 years of age, Address-Barrow St., Morgan City, LA, was arrested on 6/23/2020 at 9:39 P.M.
Charge: Driving under Suspension
An officer conducted a traffic stop in the area of Federal Ave. The driver was identified as Shanika S. Guidry. A computer check revealed her driver's license was under suspension. She was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
