Zachariah Joy, 51 years of age, Chennault St. Morgan City, LA was arrested at 11:57 am on 07/02/2020

Operating a vehicle while Intoxicated
An officer patrolling in the area of Hwy 182 noticed a vehicle traveling extremely slow, as the officer neared the vehicle he noticed the driver striking the curb on the right side of the roadway. The vehicle was stopped and the officer spoke with the driver identified as Zachariah Joy. The officer believed Joy to be intoxicated and had him perform a field sobriety test which Joy failed. Joy was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department. Joy was given a chance to provide a breath sample which he did with the results of .373g%. Joy was booked into the Morgan City Police Department Jail.
