Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 96-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 154-calls of service. The following person(s) were arrested as the result beginning on 9/4/2020
Brock Elix Williams, 41 years of age, Address-Oak St., Morgan City, LA., was arrested on 9/5/2020 at 3:43 P.M.
Charge: Criminal Trespassing
Officers were called to an address on LA Highway 70 for an individual who refused to leave the property. Upon the officer's arrival, they came into contact with Brock E. Williams. Williams refused to leave the property and was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration
Travis Ray Hayes, 41 years of age, Address-Federal Ave., Morgan City, LA., was arrested on 9/6/2020 at 1:47 A.M.
Charge: Domestic Abuse Battery-Child Endangerment Law

Officers while in the area of Fig St. were alerted to a domestic disturbance on Levee Rd. Officers came into contact with Travis R. Hayes. During the investigation, it was learned Hayes had committed a battery on his dating partner in the presence of a child. He was placed under and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Jerome Paul Loupe, 42 years of age, Address-Chester Bowls, Morgan City, LA., was arrested on 9/6/2020 12:02 P.M.
Warrant: Domestic Abuse Battery (Felony)
Warrant: Simple Assault
Officers located Jerome P. Loupe at his residence and placed him under arrest on active warrants held by the Morgan City Police Department. He was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Jules Joiner, 23 years of age, Address-Lachene St., Pierre Part, LA., was arrested on 9/6/2020 at 12:55 P.M.
Warrant: Domestic Abuse Battery
Theft of a Motor Vehicle-Over $25,000.00
Jules Joiner was located at Assumption Parish Sheriff's Department Detention Center and placed under arrest. He was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Gage Michael Yates, 20 years of age, Address-Olive Cuba Rd., Shriever, LA., was arrested on 9/6/2020 at 11:18 P.M.

An officer observed a traffic violation in the area of Sixth St. and Belanger St. and conducted a traffic stop. The driver was identified as Gage M. Yates. During the traffic stop, he was found in possession of suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Curtis Paul Gaudet Jr., 27 years of age, Address-Lake Palourde Rd., Amelia, LA., was arrested on 9/7/2020 at 2:13 P.M.
Charge: Resisting an Officer-False Information
Aggravated Assualt Domestic Battery
Warrant: Failure to Appear
Officers were called to an address on Highway 182 for a domestic disturbance. Upon the officer's arrival, came into contact with Curtis P. Gaudet Jr. who initially gave officers a false name. During the investigation, officers learned Gaudet had committed an aggravated assault on his dating partner. A warrant check revealed the 16th District Court held active warrants for his arrest. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
