Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded 49 to calls for service. The following person(s) were arrested as a result beginning on 10/26/2020:
Miles Morgan, 33 years of age, Front St. Morgan City, LA was arrested on 10/26/2020 at 1:03 pm
Charges: Criminal Damage to Property
Officers were called to a residence after it was discovered that Morgan damaged some property at the residence. Morgan was located and arrested for criminal damage to property. Morgan was transported to Morgan City Police Department.
Charlotte Bracamontes, 32 years of age, Tiffany St. Patterson, LA was arrested on 10/26/2020 at 7:59
Charges: Warrant-City Court FTA Possession Synthetic Cannabinoids
Warrant-City Court FTA Disturbing the Peace Intoxicated
Warrant-City Court FTA Contempt of Court(4 counts)

Battery on an Officer
Officers were called to a Hwy 182 address due to a female causing a disturbance. Officers arrived and found Bracamontes yelling outside of the address. Officers learned that Bracamontes had several outstanding warrants from City Court of Morgan City. Officers went to arrest Bracamontes when she began to resist officers and during that time she kick one officer. Bracamontes was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking.
