Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 42-calls of service. The following person(s) were arrested as the result beginning on 1/5/2021
Sherry Thibodeaux, 38 years of age, Address-Holly Road, Labadieville, LA., was arrested on 1/5/2021 at 12:30 P.M.

Lacey Marie Fabre, 28 years of age, Address-Wren St., Morgan City, LA., was arrested on 1/5/2021 at 12:30 P.M.

Sherry Thibodeaux and Lacey M. Fabre were involved in a physical altercation while incarcerated in the Morgan City Jail. Thibodaux and Fabre were booked for simple battery and incarcerated in the Morgan City Jail.
Paul Larue Cleveland, 40 years of age, Address-Federal Ave., Morgan City, LA., was arrested on 1/5/2021 at 5:05 P.M.

The warrant stems from a complaint filed with the Morgan City Police Department on August 24, 2020. During the investigation, Investigators were able to obtain an arrest warrant for his arrest.
On January 5, 2021, Investigators located Paul Cleveland at an address on Federal Ave. He was placed under arrest and was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
David Royal Brown, 56 years of age, Address-Youngs Road, Morgan City, LA., was arrested on 1/5/2021 at 5:05 P.M.

Possession of Alcoholic Beverage in Motor Vehicle
An officer on patrol observed a traffic violation in the area of Second St. and Wise St. A traffic stop was conducted, and the driver was identified as David R. Brown. A computer check revealed his driver's license was under suspension. The officer also observed an open alcoholic beverage in the vehicle during the traffic stop. He was placed under arrest and transferred to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
