Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 37-calls of service. The following person(s) were arrested as the result beginning on 2/18/2021.
Duran Adaryll Wells Jr., 19 years of age, Address-Pine Island Avenue, Baton Rouge, LA., was arrested on 2/18/2021

The Morgan City Police Department responded to a business burglary on January 30, 2021. During the investigation, Detectives with the Morgan City Police Department and Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Office, with assistance from the Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office, Assumption Parish Sheriff's Office, Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office, and Baton Rouge Police Department, developed Duran A. Wells Jr. as a suspect. On February 12, 2021, with the assistance of the Louisiana Department of Justice and Hammond Police Department, Duran Wells was taken into custody. On February 18, 2012, he was transported and booked into the Morgan City Police Department.
Rebecca Jane Demarco, 49 years of age, Address-Sixth St., Morgan City, LA., was arrested on 2/18/2021 at 3:30 P.M.

On February 18, 2021, a K-9 Officer conducted a traffic stop in the area of General Mc Arthur and Federal Ave. The driver was identified as Keiondre Allridge. During the traffic stop, officers discovered evidence from a business burglary reported to the Morgan City Police Department on February 16, 2021, in his possession. During the investigation, Detectives with the Morgan City Police Department obtained an arrest warrant for Keiondre O Allridge. He was placed under arrest and booked into the Morgan City Police Department for incarceration.
