Channing C. Riley, 32 years of age, Address-Barrow St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 09/23/2014 @ 11:16am

Charge: Resisting an Officer by False Information; Warrant: Failure to Appear-Issuing Worthless Checks; Warrrant: Criminal Neglect of Family; Warrant: Terrebone Parish-Failure to Appear-Issuing Worthless Checks-Probation Violation

Thomas Riley, 27 years of age, Address-Barrow St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 09/23/2014 @ 11:16am

Charge: Simple Battery

     Officers dispatched to a disturbance at a Barrow St. residence were told that a male subject, Thomas Riley had caused a disturbance at the residence, striking a female during an altercation.  Officers located Thomas Riley and another male subject, Channing Riley in the area and questioned their involvement.  Channing Riley, according to reports made attempts to conceal his true identitiy by providing a false name to officers.  When he was postively identified, he was found to be wanted on several outstanding warrants.  Thomas Riley, who was accused of the battery was arrested.  Channing Riley was arrested on the outstanding warrants.  Both were transported to the Morgan City Police Department where they were booked and incarcerated. 

 

 

Marjorie R. Ruffin, 24 years of age, Address-Franklin, La. was arrested on 09/23/2014 @ 7:45pm

Charge: Warrant: Failure to Pay Fine-Possession of Marijuana; Warrant: Contempt of Court-2 Counts; Warrant: Failure to Pay Probation Fee

Marjorie R. Ruffin

     Marjorie Ruffin was located at the Morgan City Police Department jail facility and placed under arrest for outstanding warrants from the Sixth Ward City Court. She was processed and remains incarcerated.
