Arrest Report 10/21/2014

The following persons were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning 10/21/2014:

 

 

Nathaniel A. Rollins, 18  years of age, Address-Patterson, La. was arrested on 10/20/2014 @ 5:09pm

Charge: Possession of Synthetic Marijuana with the Intent to Distribute; Violation of Uniformed Controlled Dangerous Substance Law

     Officers patrolling the Belanger St. area came into contact with a suspicous male subject and stopped to investigate.  The subject, Nathanial Rollins, during the encounter was found to possess several individual bags of suspected synthetic marijuana and was subsequently arrested.  Officers gathered evidence which indicated that Rollins had been selling the substance and charged him accordingly.  The area which Rollins was detained was within the prescribed "Drug Free Zone" near an elementary school.  Rollins was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.
