Investigators with the Morgan City Police Department traveled to Orange County Correctional Facility in Texas where three subjects wanted by the Morgan City Police Department in their continuing investigation of an attack on a Morgan City resident where remanded into their custody and transported back to Morgan City Police Department. The subject, Jesus Munoz Perez, Zene Vasquez, and Ossiel Munoz Perez had waived extradition back to Louisiana. The subjects were booked and incarcerated into the Morgan City Jail facility. The subjects, as well as another subject reportedly involved, Geronimo Ramirez Martinez were also detained for Federal Immigration Enforcement. Musus Munoz Perez, Zene Vasquez, and Ossiel Munoz Perez remain incarcerated with a bond of $300,000.

Christopher Frye turned himself in to officers at the Morgan City Police Department to be booked on an outstanding warrant for violation of a protective order after officers secured the warrant in response to a complaint which was filed with an officer on December 14, 2014 where he was accused of repeated contacts to a female after being forbidden. He was booked and released after posting a $2,500.00 bond.
