Charge: Carnal Knowledge of a Juvenile

Detectives with the Morgan City Police Department conducted an investigation of a possible carnal knowledge of a juvenile after a complaint was received on December 29, 2014. In that investigation, Jacolbi Francois was identified as the suspect. Based upon statements and as a result fo the investigation, detectives secured an arrest warrant for Francois for carnal knowledge of a juvenile, a misdemeanor. Francois is accused of having consensual sexual intercourse with a 14 year old female juvenile. Jacolbi Francois was located at his residence and placed under arrest. He was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated. He was released after posting a $25,000.00 bond.

Officers observed a vehicle with improper lighting near David Dr. in Morgan City and stopped the vehicle to speak with the driver who was identified as Hope Delgado. Delgado was found to be operating a vehicle with a suspended drivers license and was subsequently arrested. She was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where she was booked and incarcerated.
