Chet Williams, 47 years of age, Address-Shady Grove Patterson, La. was arrested on 01/22/2015 @ 12:21pm
Charge: Operating a Vehicle with a Suspended Drivers License; Possession of Marijuana 2nd; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

A patrolling officer observed a vehicle in the area of Freret St. and Second St. that failed to negotiate a stop sign and stopped the vehicle to investigate. The driver, Chet Williams was found to be operating a vehicle with a suspended drivers license. He was also found to be in possession of items of drug paraphernalia and suspected marijuana, a controlled substance. He was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.
David Schilling, 57 years of age, Address-Morgan City, La. was arrested on 01/22/2015 @ 5:44pm
Charge: Stop Sign Violation with Accident; Operating a Vehicle while Intoxicated
Officers responded to a vehicle crash at the intersection of David Dr. and Victor II Blvd and located a driver, David Schilling which according to the crash investigation had failed to yield at a stop sign, pulling into traffic resulting in the crash. Schilling exhibited signs of impairment according to reports and submitted to a field sobriety test which he failed. Schilling was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was provided an opportunity to submit to an Intoxilyzer 5000 test which he refused. He was booked and incarcerated.
