MCPD Arrest Report 02/25/2015

The following persons were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning 02/24/2015:


Areana C. Candanedo, 25 years of age, Address-Highway 182 Morgan City, La. was arrested on 02/24/2015 @ 9:05am

Charge: Warrant -Failure to Pay Fine (No Driver's License)

     Areana C. Candanedo who was incarcerated in the Morgan City Jail was booked on a warrant for the Sixth Ward Court of Morgan City.  She was booked and remains incarcerated.

Barry L. Jones,  27 years of age, Address-Bowman St. Morgan City,La was arrested on 2-24-2015 at 11:12 am 

Charge: Warrant-Contempt of Court
               Warrant-Failure to Pay Fine Driving under suspension
               Warrant-Failure to Pay Probation Fee

     Barry Jones was located on Cane Road by the Morgan City Police Department and placed under arreste for outstanding warrants for the Sixth Ward Court of Morgan City.  He was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and released after posting a cash bond.

Quintin Douglas, 23 years of age, Address-Tiffany St. Patterson,La. was arrested on 2-24-2015 at 8:59 pm

Charge: Driving under Suspension 
               Improper Lighting 

     A patroling officer observed a vehicle with improper lighting near the intersection of Myrtle St. and Railroad Ave.  and stopped the vehicle to speak with the driver.  The driver, Quintin Douglas was discovered to be operating a vehicle with a suspended driver's license.  He was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was incarcerated.
