MCPD Arrest Report 05/19/2015

The following persons were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning 05/18/2015:


Lisa A. Turner, 36 years of age, Address-Franklin, La. was arrested on 05/18/2015 @ 7:56 pm.


Charge: Warrant- No Driver's License
               Warrant-No Insurance

     Lisa Turner was transported from the Law Enforcement Center in Centerville, La. to the Morgan City Police Department for outstanding warrants for the Sixth Ward City Court.  Turner was booked and incarcerated.

 Peter E. Grogan, 37 years of age, Address-Railroad Ave. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/19/2015 @ 5:43 am.


Charge: Warrant- Criminal Neglect of Family (2 cts)

     Officers were dispatched to the 1500 block of Sixth St. in regards to someone being in the complainant's backyard.  When officers arrived, they noticed a subject in the backyard of the residence asleep in a chair. Officers made contact with the subject, Peter Grogan and a local warrants check was done. It was determined that Grogan held active warrants through the Sixteenth Judical Court. Grogan was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
