The following persons were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning 06/26/2015:
Samantha M. Williams, 25 years of age, Address- Aucoin St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 06/26/2015 @ 7:55 am.
Charge: Failure to Appear (Drug Court)
Samantha M. Williams
Samantha Williams was located at a residence on Aucoin St. A local warrants check was done on Williams and it was determined that she held an outstanding warrant for the 16th Judicial Court. She was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Jarmarcus L. Paddio, 18 years of age, Address-Freret St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 06/26/2015 @ 11:19 am.
Charge: Remaining After Being Forbidden

Officers were dispatched to a local business on Seventh St. in regards to a disturbance. Officers arrived and was told by management that Jarmarcus Paddio had been banned from the store. When an employees asked him to leave, he started using profanities towards them. Officers located Paddio outside of the business and placed him under arrest. Paddio was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
David T. Francois, 42 years of age, Address-Fourth St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 06/26/2015 @ 10:22 pm.

Shia D. Short, 32 years of age, Address-Fourth St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 06/26/2015 @ 10:22 pm.

Shina D. Short
Officers were dispatched to a residence on Fourth St. in regards to a domestic disturbance. Officers arrived and were told by witnesses that they heard a female in the residence yelling. Officers were able to make entry in the residence and located Shina Short and David Francois. Francois tried to run from officers, but was later subduded. During the course of the investigation, officers located suspected marijuana and suspected cocaine in the residence, along with drug paraphernalia. Short stated to officers that the items belong to her. It was also determined that Short held active warrants for the Sixth Ward City Court. Both Short and Francois were placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department.
Ty M. Hammonds, 35 years of age, Address- Patterson, La. was arrested on 06/26/2015 @ 11:50 pm.
Charge: Driving While Inoxicated

A patrol officer in the parking lot of a local business on LA 182 noticed a vehicle with the driver asleep. The officer approached the vehicle and attempted to awaken the driver. Once the drive was awake, he was asked to exit the vehicle. When the driver, Ty Hammonds exited the vehicle, the officer obsereve he was unable to maintain his balance and the officer could smell an odor of alcoholic beverage on his breath. Hammonds was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department, Once at the police department, Hammond was asked to perform the Standardized Field Soberity Test, in which he performed poorly. Hammond also submitted to the chemical test for intoxication and yielded a sample of .136 g % of blood alcohol content. He was then charged with Driving While Intoxicated and was incarcerated.
Anton D. Williams, 21 years of age, Address-Railroad Ave. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 06/27/2015 @ 4:10 am.
Charge: Theft under $750.00 ($31.63)

Officers were dispatched to a local business on LA 182 in regards to someone leaving the business without paying. When officers arrived, management gave the description of subject who left the business. Officers were able to locate the subject fitting the description in the area of Everett and Ninth St. According to reports, Williams was asked about leaving the business without paying for his food and he stated he did because he did not have enough money to pay the ticket. Williams was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
James A. Tarleton, 21 years of age, Address-Taft St. Patterson, was arrested on 06/27/2015 @ 8:56 pm.
Charge: Driving Under Suspension

A patrol officer in the area of LA 182 and US 90 observed a vehicle, fail to stop a red traffic signal, a traffic stop was conducted. The driver, James Tarleton, was asked to produce a valid driver's license. A computer check was done and it was determined that Tarleton's driver's license was under suspesion. Tarleton was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Gale V. Driskill, 61 years of age, Address-River Rd. Berwick, La. was arrested on 06/27/2015 @ 10:06 pm.
Charge: Improper Lane Usuage
A patrol officer in the area of LA 182 and Myrtle St. observed a vehicle drive in the middle of the roadway taking up both lanes of travel. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver, Gale Driskil was asked to produce a valid driver's license. While speaking to Driskill, officers could smell an odor of alocholic beverage on her breath. Driskill was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department. Once at the police department, Driskill was asked to submit to the chemical test for intoxication, her sample was under the legal limit of .08% BAC, Driskill was only charged with improper lane usage.
Daniel A. Scully, 40 years of age. Address-Belanger St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 06/28/2015 @ 1:42 am.
Charge: Appearing in Public Intoxicated

Officers were dispatched to a local bar on LA 182 in regards to a disturbance. When officers arrived they located Daniel Scully. Scully appeared to be intoxicated and refused to leave the area. Scully was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Jayme R. Wininger, 19 years of age, Address-Palm St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 06/28/2015 @ 5:57 pm.
Charge: Warrant- Failure to Appear (Speeding)

Jayme Wininger was located in the area of Sixth and Fig St. Wininger held an outstanding warrant for the Sixth Ward City Court. Wininger was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Robin D. Carbin, 47 years of age, Address- Fifth St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 06/28/2015 @ 8:11 pm.
Charge: Theft of Goods ($24.20)

Officers were dispatched to a local supermarket on LA 182 in regards to a shoplifter. When officers arrived, Robin Carbin had been detained. According to reports, Carbin had concealed several items and tried leaving the store without paying. The items totaled $24.20. Carbin was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and Incarceration.
