MCPD Arrest Report 07/29/2015

The following persons were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning 07/28/2015:


Mark A. Eugene, 50 years of age, Address-Terrebonne St. Morgan City, La was arrested on 07/28/2015 @ 9:22 am.  


Charge:  Warrant-Probation Violation

     Mark Eugene was already incarcerated in the Morgan City Jail Facility, when an active warrant for the Sixth Ward City Court was filed. Eugene was booked and continues to be incarcerated.

Lucius Romero, 40 years of age, Address-North Third St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 07/28/2015 @ 4:39 pm.


Charge:  Warrant-Failure to Pay Fine

     Lucius Romero was located at his residence. A local warrants check was done on Romero and it was determined that he held an outstanding warrant for the Sixth Ward City Court.  He was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Michael W. Forristal, 43 years of age, Address-Honey Lane Morgan City, La. was arrested on 07/28/2015 @ 7:18 pm. 


Charge:  Appearing in Public Intoxicated
               Warrant- Failure to Pay Fines (2cts)

     A patrol officer in the area of David Dr. and Victor II Blvd. observed someone who appeared to be sleeping. Upon making contact with the person, now identified as Michael Forristal, the officer could smell a odor of alcoholic beverage emitting from his breath. A warrants check was done on Forristal and it was determined that he held active warrants for the Sixth Ward City Court.  He was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Daniel T. Colbert, 20 years of age, Address-Franklin, La. was arrested on 07/28/2015 @ 8:33 pm.


Charge:  Warrant- Probation Violation (2cts)
                Improper Display of License Plate

     A patrol officer in the area of LA 182 and Eleventh St. observed a vehicle with the license plate improperly displayed.  The vehicle was stopped to investigate.  The driver, Daniel Colbert was asked to produce the proper paperwork for the vehicle.  A local warrants check was done on Colbert and it was determined that he held active warrants for the Sixth Ward City Court. Colbert was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
