MCPD Arrest Report 11/03/2015

The following persons were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning 11/02/2015:

Bryan Wright, 41 years of age, Address- Gray, La. was arrested on 11/02/2015 @ 1:30 am.

Charge: Remaining After Being Forbidden
Resisting an Officer
Warrant- Failure to Appear-Possession of Marijuana (St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office)
Warrant- Failure to Appear Aggravated Battery (St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office)

Bryan Wright

Officers were dispatched to a residence on Gen. Hodges St. in regards to removing an individual from the residence. When officers arrived, the homeowner wanted Bryan Wright removed from the property. Officers located Wright outside of the residence. A warrants check was done on Wright and it was determined that he held active warrants for the Sixteenth Judicial District Court. While trying to place Wright into handcuffs, he began to jerk away from the officer, but was subdued. Wright was then tranported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Terrell V. Bullock, 22 years of age, Address- Hwy 182 Morgan City, La. was arrested on 11/02/2015 @ 10:29 am.

Charge: Warrant: Canal Knowledge of a Juvenile

Terrell Bullock was located in the area of Hwy 182 and Myrtle St. Bullock was placed under arrest for an active warrant held for the Morgan City Police Department. The warrant stems from an investigation that began on October 20, 2015, which alleges that Bullock had sexual contact with a 13 year old female. Bullock was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Charles Walker, 32 years of age, Address- Filmore St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 11/02/2015 @ 9:59 am.

Charge: Warrant- Simple Battery
Warrant- Failure to Appear-Criminal Damage to Property
Warrant- Failure to Pay Probation Fees

Charles Walker was transported from the Assumption Parish Jail to the Morgan City Police Department for active warrants he held for the Morgan City Police Department and the Sixth Ward City Court. Walker was booked and incarcerated.

John P, May, 25 years of age, Address-West Park Rd. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 11/03/2015 @ 1:40 am.

Charge: Brake Lights Required
Warrant- Failure to Appear to Pay Restitution (St. Mary Parish Sherriff's Office)

A patrol officer in the area of Hwy 182 and Myrtle St. observed a vehicle with improper lighting. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver, John May was asked to produce a valid driver's license. A warrants check revealed that May held an active warrant for the Sixteenth Judicial District Court. May was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
