The following persons were arrested during the last reporting period beginning 12/15/2015
Juvenile Male:
Charges: Terrorizing
On December 14, 2015 the Morgan City Police Department arrested a male juvenile after a complaint from Morgan City High School. Morgan City Police Department officers investigated the matter and learned that the juvenile male made threats to harm several students and staff. The officer after speaking with witness's placed the juvenile under arrest. The juvenile was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked for Terrorizing. The juvenile was held pending a juvenile court hearing.

Charge: Warrant-Disturbing the Peace by fighting

Nicole Harris came to the Morgan City Police Department to turn herself in on a warrant from City Court of Morgan City for Disturbing the Peace by Fighting. The warrant stems from an investigation from a fight in the area of Garber St. on December 10, 2015. Harris was booked into the Morgan City Police Department jail and later released after posting pond.
2-Juvenile Males
Charges: Simple Burglary
Unauthorized use of a Movable
On 12/15/2015 Morgan City Police Department Detectives arrested two juvenile males on charges of Simple Burglary and Unauthorized use of a Movable. The arrest stem from an investigation into subjects riding a 4 wheeled ATV on the Morgan City High School Baseball field. The juveniles were identified after video showed the juvenile males removing the ATV from a storage shed and entering a building on the baseball field where they were seen removing items . The matter is still investigation and more arrest are pending.
