The following persons were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning on 01/22/2016.
Crystal N Casteel, 38 years of age, Address: Hwy 90 Morgan City, La. was arrested on 01/22/2016 @ 17:15pm
Charges: Possession of Legend Drug with out Prescription

Warrant - Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Officers responded to a local Motel on Brashear Ave. in regard to a complaint of illegal narcotics activity in one of the rooms. Officers went to the room where they made contact with Crystal Casteel. Casteel was informed about the complaint and according to reports Casteel told officer she did indeed have contraband inside the room and granted officers permission to search. A search of the room was conducted when officers located suspected marijuana and drug paraphenalia. A warrants check also revealed that there were active arrest warrants for her arrest held by Morgan City Police. Casteell was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where she was booked and incarcerated.

A patrolling officer was in the area of Sixth St. near Freret St. when vehicle was observed making an imroper turn. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver identified as Jacob T Alcina and passenger Malcom J Smith. A drivers license check revealed that Alcina had a suspended drivers license. Alcinia was placed under arrest when he was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana, methamphetamine and subutex. Officers also located suspected marijuana, cocaine and methamphetamine inside the vehicle in the area where Smith was. Both Smith and Alcina were placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where they were booked and incarcerated.
Sierra Garret, 21 years of age, Address: Gibson, La. was arrested on 01/23/2016 @ 2:29 am.
Charges: Simple Battery
Officers responded to an address on Everett Street in regard to a subject knocking at the door and refusing to leave. Officers arrived and located Searra Garret standing at the front door. While speaking to Garret the complainant opened the door when Garret rushed at the complainant and stuck the complainant in the face. Siearra was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where she was booked and incarcertated.
Ramon Garcia, 40 years of age, Address: Railroad Ave. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 01/23/2016 @ 3:18pm.

Expired Instection Sticker
No Drivers License
A patolling officer observed a vehicle in the area of Railroad Ave. near Federal Ave. with an expired instection sticker. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver identified as Ramon Garcia. A drivers license check revealed that Garcia did not have a valid drivers license. Consent to search was given to the officer when suspected cocaine was located on Garcia. Garcia was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.
Kenneth G Evans III, 36 years of age, Address: Leo St. Patterson, La. was arrested on 01/23/2016 @ 9:35pm.

A patrolling officer observed a vehicle on Railroad Ave. near Federal Ave. traveling in the wrong lane of travel. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver identified as Anthony Gant. Gant told the officer that the vehicle had a bad strut which caused the vehicle to go into the wrong lane of travel. It was learned that the vehicle did not have vehicle insurance. A warrants check revealed that the 16th Judicial Dist. Courts held outstanding warrants for Gants arrest and he was arrested. Officers made contact with a passenger of the vehicle who gave the officer which was later learned to be a false name . An additional reponding officer observed the passenger who was known to the officers as Kenneth Evans III. A warrants check revealed that the 16th Judicial Dist. Courts held outstanding warrants for Evans arrest. Evans was placed under arrest when he began fighting with officers. After a short struggle Evans was subdued. Both Gant and Evens were transported to the Morgan City Police Department where they were booked and incarcerated.
Billi Driskell, 40 years of age, Address: Park Rd. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 01/23/2016 @ 11:02pm.
Charge: Distrubing the Peace
Officer responed to an address on Roderick St. in regard to a female causig a disturbance. Officers arrived and spoke with the complainant and witnesses about the incident. They advised that Billi Driskell went to the residence and began yelling profanities at the complainant. Driskell who was located on scene was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where she was booked and incacerated.

Domestic Abuse Battery by Strangulation - In the Presense of a Juvenile
Officers responded to an address on Belanger Street in regard to a domestic distubance. Officers arrived and located Aubaray White outside the residence. A warrants check revealed White had active arrest warrants with the Morgan City Police Department at which time he was arrested. Officers spoke with the victim who stated that the victim and White began to argue when White grabbed the victim by the throat, threw the victim onto a bed and struck the victim. It was also learned that there were several small children present during the incident. White was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.
Wesley P Ackman, 30 years of age, Address: Federal Ave. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 01/24/2016 @ 2:01pm.

Wesley Ackman was located by patrol officers on Second St. and arrested on outstanding warrants for the City Court of Morgan City. He was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.

Henry Pierce was located by patrol officers in the area of Federal Ave. and arrested on an outstanding warrant for the 16th Judicial District Court for Drug Court Violation. He was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.

Driving While Intoxicated
Officers responded to a complaint of a stolen vehicle at a Fifth St. business. Officers were provided a description of the truck and the suspect involved. According to witness, the owner left the vehicle running outstide the business when an unknown subject entered the vehicle and left the area. Patrolling officers located the suspect and vehicle at the corner of Brashear Ave. and Fourth St. where the suspect, Michael Torres was detained. Torres, exhibited signs of impairment and was arrested. Torres was also found to be operating a vehicle with a suspended drivers license and in possession of suspected marijuana. He was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he submitted to an Intoxilyzer 5000 test which indicated a blood alcohol concentration of .163g%. He was booked and remains incarcerated. The stolen vehicle was returned undamaged to the victim.

Dion M. Maize was located on Railroad Ave. and identified as a wanted person by patrolling officers. He was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.

Warrant - 16th Judicial District Court-Failure to Appear-Traffic Citations
Officers patrolling the area of Sixth St. and Freret St. oberved a vehicle fail to stop properly at an intersection. The driver was detained and identified as Fressia Colar. Colar could not produce a valid drivers license and was discovered to be driving a vehicle with a suspended drivers license. Colar was also found to be wanted for failing to appear in the 16th Judicial District Court for several other violations. She was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where she was booked and incarcerated.
Brent J Terrebonne, 44 years of age, Address: Cut Off, La. was arrested on 01/25/2016 @ 12:44am.

Violation of Uniformed Controlled Dangerous Substance Law
A patrolling officer was in the area of Federal Ave. near Bowman Street when a vehicle was observed stopped in the middle of the roadway. The officer then spoke with the driver who was identified as Brent J Terrebonne. A drivers lincese check revealed that Terrebonne had a suspended drivers licese. Terrebonne was placed under arrest and officers located suspected marijuana and buspirone in the vehicle. The location of the incident was within the area of a local school in violation of the uniformed controlled dangerous substance law. Terrebonne was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.
