Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
A patrolling officer was in the area of Federal Ave. @ Brashear Ave. when a vehicle was observed with window tint violation. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver identified as Frederick B Fournet. During the investigation, the driver aroused officers suspicions that he was involved in illegal drug activity. A search of the vehicle was conducted when the officer located suspected marijuana, methamphetamine, MDMA (ecstasy), durg paraphernalia and proceeds believed to be obtained from the sale of illegal narcotics. The location of the incident was in the area of a local elementary school in violation of the uniformed controlled dangerous substance law. Fournet was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated with a bond set at $5,000.
Craig O Robinson, 28 years of age, Address: Cherry St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 01/25/2016 @ 6:30pm.
Charge: Warrant - 16th Judicial Dist. Court for Failure to Appear for Simple Assault
Craig O Robinson was located on Railroad Ave. near Fourth St. where he was arrested on a warrant for the 16th Judicial Dist. Court for Failure to Appear on Simple Assault. Robinson was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.
Treylon J Jenkins, 21 years of age, Address: Guither St. Patterson, La. was arrested on 01/26/2016 @ 3:33am.

Resisting An Officer
A patrolling officer observed a vehicle run a stop sign at the US 90 off ramp @ Freret Street. While attempting to catch up with the vehicle the officer observed the vehicle driving in a careless manner crossing the lane of travel several times. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver identified as Treylon J Jenkins. As Jennkins retrieved the papers for the vehicle the officer observed suspected marijuana inside the vehicle. As officers attempted to arrest Jenkins, he attempted to flee from officers. After a short foot chase Jenkins was captured and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated. The location of the incident was within the area of a local elementay school in violation of the uniformed controlled dangerous substance law.
