A patrolling officer observed a vehicle on Ditch Ave. with improper tail lighting. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver identified as Annabel M Garza. During the investigation Garza's behavior aroused officer's suspicions that she may be involved in illegal drug activity. A search of the vehicle was conducted when suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia was located. Garza was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where she was booked and incarcerated.
Tressa Z Womack, 33 years of age, Address: Egle St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 02/11/2016 @ 12:40am.

Morgan City Police Department Narcotics Detectives executed a search warrant at a residence on Egle Street. Investigators located Tressa Z Womack and a small child under 2 years of age inside the residence. A search of the residence was conducted when investigators located suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The location of the incident was within a local federal housing area in violation of uniformed controlled dangerous substance laws. A warrants check revealed that the Morgan City Police Department held an active arrest warrant for Womack. Womack was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where she was booked and incarcerated.
