The following persons were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning on 02/15/2016.
Jonathan C Murray, 31 years of age, Address: South Railroad Ave. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 02/15/2016 @ 7:45pm.

Charges:  Warrant - Probation Violation
                  Warrant - Contempt of Court

     Jonathan C Murray was located by officers at a residence on South Railroad Ave. and arrested on active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Murray was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated. 
Matthew L Lamar, 28 years of age, Address: Palm St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 02/16/2016 @ 2:40am. 

Charges:  Improper Lighting
                  Driving Under Suspension
                  Warrant - Failure to Appear for Allowing Dogs to Roam

     A patrolling officer observed a vehicle in the area of Victor II Blvd. near Cottonwood Street with no lights. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver identified as Matthew L Lamar. A warrants and drivers licnese check revealed that there was an active arrest warrant held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court and that Lamar had a suspended drivers license. Lamar was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
