MCPD Arrest Report 02/25/2016

The following persons were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning 02/24/2016:

Shanice L. Marshall, Age-23, Address-Maine St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 02/24/2016 @ 10:08 am.

Charge:  Warrant-Probation Violation

   Shanice Marshall was transported to the Morgan City Police Department from the 6th Ward City Court for an active warrant held for the court. Marshall was booked and incarcerated.

Dijon Bell, Age-21, Address- James St. Franklin, La. was arrested on 02/24/2016 @ 10:25 pm.

Charge:  Driving Under Suspension
                No Insurance
                Two Headlights Required
                Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
                Possession of Marijuana

Terrill O. Johnson, Age-19, Address- Plantation Tech Rd. Franklin, La. was arrested on 02/24/2016 @ 10:25 pm.

Charge:  Possession of Marijuana
                Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

   A patrol officer in the area of Greenwood and Ninth St. observed a vehicle with improper lighting. A vehicle stop was conducted and the driver, Dijon Bell was asked to produce a valid driver's license. A computer check revealed that Bell's driver's license was under suspension. There also was no insurance on the vehicle.  While asking the passenger, Terrill Johnson to exit the vehicle, officers observed suspected marijuana on the floor of the vehicle, along with drug paraphernalia. Both Bell and Johnson were placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
