    The following persons were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning on 03/16/2016:

Caleb M. Landry Jr., 17 years of age, Address- Louisa St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 03/16/2016 @ 10:52 am.

Charge:  Disturbing the Peace Fighting

Alex M. Dunlap, 18 years of age, Address-Diane Dr. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 03/16/2016 @ 10:52 am. 

Charge:  Disturbing the Peace Fighting

  Officers were dispatched to Morgan City High School in regards to a disturbance. When officers arrived, school officials stated that two students, Caleb Landry and Alex Dunlap had been figting. Both Landry and Dunlap were place under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration. 
Payton Bailey, 20 years of age, Address- Two Brothers Ln. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 03/16/2016 @ 12:42 pm.

Charge: Warrant- Possession of Marijuana 2nd Offense
               Warrant- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
               Warrant- Violation of Uniform Control Dangerous Substance Law

  Officers located Payton Bailey in the area of Myrtle St. A local warrants check was done and it was determined that she held an active warrant for the Morgan City Police Department. Bailey was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration. 
Michael P. Crouch, 29 years of age, Address- Marcel Dr. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 03/16/2016 @ 2:30 pm.

Charge:  Warrant- Failure to Pay Fine for Resisting an Officer
                Warrant-  Contempt of Court

  Micheal Crouch turned himself in to the Morgan City Police Department for active warrants he held for the Sixth Ward City Court. Crouch was booked and incarcerated. 
Taquasha Johnson, 20 years of age, Address- Bayou Black Dr. Gibson, La. was arrested on 03/16/2016 @ 3:09 pm. 

Charge:  Disturbing the Peace Fighting


Skiler Chauvin, 18 years of age, Address- Sleey Hollow Court Schriever, La. was arrested on 03/16/2016 @ 3:09 pm. 

Charge:  Disturbing the Peace Fighting


   Officers were dispatched to a local hotel on Hwy 182 in regards to individuals fighting in the parking lot. Officers arrived and located Taquasha Johnson and Skiler Chauvin. Reports indicated that both Johnson and Chauvin admitted to fighting. They were placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Alvontray B. Louis, 19 years of age, Address- Orange St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 03/16/2016 @ 4:05 pm.

Charge: Warrant- Failure to Appear( No Driver's License)

   Officers located Alovontray Louis in the area of Federal and Brashear Ave. A local warrants check was done and it was determined that he held an active warrant for the Sixth Ward City Court. Louis was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Veronica Alexander, 29 years of age, Address-Jeanerette, La. was arrested on 03/16/2016 @ 9:30 pm.

Charge:  Warrant- Probation Violation
                Warrant- Failure to Appear to Pay Probation Fee
                Warrant- Failure to Appear to Pay Fines (Drug Paraphernalia)

  Veronica Alexander was transported from the Iberia Parish Jail to the Morgan City Police Department for active warrants she held for the Sixth Ward City Court. Alexander was booked and incarcerated.
