The following person was arrested by the Morgan City Police Dpeartment during the last reporting period beginning on 07/05/2016.

Shanita Evans, 38 years of age, Address: Seventh St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 07/05/2016 @ 2:43pm. 

Charge: Contempt of Court (Failure to Complete Jail Sentence)

     Shanita Evans who was incarcerated in the Morgan City Police Department Jail was booked on an additional warrant held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. A warrant for Shanita Watts was located which was learned to be an alias name for Shanita Evans. Evans was booked on the warrant and remains incarcerated in the Morgan City Jail.
