The following persons were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning on 07/15/2016.

Chrsitopher J Adams, 42 years of age, Address: Lake Palourde Rd. Amelia, La. was arrested on 07/15/2016 @ 11:13am.

Charges:  Warrant - Possession of Methamphetamine With the Intent to Distribute
                  Warrant - Possession of Drug Paraphenalia
                  Warrant - Violation of Uniformed CDS Laws (Drug Free Zone)
                  Warrant - Improper Turning

     Christopher J Adams was transported from the Assumption Parish Sheriff's Department Jail Facility to the Morgan City Police Department in regard to active arrest warrants held by the Morgan City Police Department. The warrants were obtained from an investigation conducted by Morgan City Police Department Narcotics Detectives of an incident on June 6, 2016 where Adams was alleged to have been in possession of suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia while in a drug free zone on Allison Street. Adams was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated. 

Alex J C Theriot, 26 years of age, Address: Andras St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 07/15/2016 @ 11:13am. 

Charges:  Warrant - Failure to Appear on 05/03/16 for Simple Battery
                  Warrant - Contempt of Court
                  Warrant - Failure to Appear on 12/01/15 for Simple Battery
                  Warrant - Probation Violation

     Alex J C Theriot was transported from the Assumption Parish Sheriff's Department Jail Facility to the Morgan City Police Department in regard to several active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Theriot was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated. 

Travis C Romereo, 22 years of age, Address: Dawn Dr. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 07/15/2016 @ 4:25pm. 

Charges:  Possession With the Intent to Distribute MDMA (ecstacy)
                  Violation of Uniformed CDS Laws (Drug Free Zone)
                  Window Tint Violation

    A patrolling officers observed a vehicle traveling in the area of Hwy 182 near Martin Luther King Blvd with what appeared to be illegal window tint. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver of the vehicle identified as Travis C Romereo. Reports indicate that during a traffic investigation, Romereo's behavior arroused the officer's suspicions that Romereo may be involved in illegal drug activity. A search of the vehicle was conducted when the officer located suspected MDMA (ecstacy). The location of the incident was within the area of a local church in violation of uniformed controlled dangerous substance laws. Romereo was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated. 

Paris Durkins, 29 years of age, Address: Egle St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 07/15/2016 @ 7:13pm. 

Charge:  Warrant - Disturbing the Peace

     Paris Durkins was located at a residence on Egle Street where she was arrested on an active arrest warrant held by the Morgan City Police Department. The warrant was obtained from an investigation conducted by Morgan City Police of an incident on Egle Street reported on May 15, 2016 of alleged disturbing the peace. Durkins was transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated. 

Summer Billiot, 31 years of age, Address: Southeast Blvd. Bayou Vista, La. was arrested on 07/15/2016 @ 7:30pm. 

Charges: Disturbing the Peace by Fighting

Jasmine T Durkins, 24 years of age, Address: Saint Joseph St. New Iberia, La. was arrested on 07/15/2016 @ 7:30pm. 

Charge:  Disturbing the Peace by Fighting

     Officers responded to an address on Mallard Street in regard to a reported disturbance. The officers arrived and located several subjects on scene, two being identified as Summer Billiot and Jasmine T Durkins. Reports indicate that during an investigation of the incident, officers were told that Billiot and Durkins were involved in an argument which resulted in a physical altercation where both were alleged to have committed a battery on one another. Both Billiot and Durkins were placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where they were booked and incarcerated. 

Kimberly Evans, 24 years of age, Address: River Rd. Berwick, La. was arrested on 07/16/2016 @ 9:06am. 

Charges:  Warrant - Faliure to Appear on 01/13/16 for Reckless Operation of a Motor Vehicle
                  Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

     Kimberly Evans was located  a local hotel on Hwy 182 in Morgan City were she was arrested on an active arrest warrant held by the 16th Judicial District Court. During the arrest, a search of Evans person was conducated when the officer located suspected drug paraphernalia. Evans was transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated. 

Christopher Sylvester, 20 years of age, Address: Short St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 07/16/2016 @ 6:14pm. 

Charge: Dusturbing the Peace

     Officers responded to a residence on Short Street in regard to a reported disturbance. The officers arrived when they observed a subject later identified as Christopher Sylvester standing in the middle of the street shouting using profane language. Reports indicate that Sylvester was told by the offiers several times to calm down but that Sylvester ignored the offier's warnings. Sylvester was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated. 

Soloman Falgout, 26 years of age, Address: Fourth St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 07/18/2016 @ 1:10am. 

Charge:  Domestic Abuse Battery

     Officers responded to a local restaurant on Hwy 182 in regard to a subject wanting to report a battery. The officers arrived where they spoke with a subject who showed signs of be the victim of a battery. The officers were told that the victim and Soloman Falgout were involved in an argument at a residence on Fourth Street when Falgout committed a battery on the victim. The officers went to the Fourth Street address where they located Soloman Falgout. During an investigation, reports indicate the officers uncovered evidence a disturbance and the alleged battery. Falgout was placed under arrest and transproted to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
