MCPD Arrest Report 08/22/2016
Aisha D Davis, 37 years of age, Address: Taft St. Patterson, La. was arrested on 08/19/2016 @ 3:00pm.
Charges: Warrant - Switched License Plate
Aisha D Davis was transported from the Patterson Police Department to the Morgan City Police Department in regard to an active arrest warrant held by the Morgan City Police Department. The warrant was obtained from an investigation coducted by Morgan City Police of an alleged incident on December 19, 2013 where Davis was found to be operating a vehicle is a switched license plate. Davis was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.
Jayme R Wininger, 20 years of age, Address: Palm St. Moran City, La. was arrested on 08/19/2016 @ 4:49pm.
Charge: Disturbing the Peace
A patrolling officer responded to a residence on Cypress Street in regard to a call of a disturbance. The officer arrived and spoke with the complainant who told the officer that Jayme R Wininger walked in front of the compainants residence when he began to shout and curse at the complainant. Reports indicate that the incident was captured on video which was viewed by the officer. Wininger was located moments later at a residence on Levee Road where he was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.
Donald Bryrd, 47 years of age, Address: Freret St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 08/19/2016 @ 6:48am.
Charge: Simple Criminal Damage to Property
Domestic Abuse Battery
Officers responded to a residence on Freret Street in regard to a call of a disturbnace. The officers arrived and spoke to a witness of incidence along with a subject later identified as a victim who showed signs of a battery. During the investigation, the officers observed several damage furniture items inside the residence. The officers were told that Donald Byrd became angry when he began damaging several furniture items inside the residence. During the incident, Byrd was alleged to have committed a battery on the victim and continued damaging clothing items which belonged to the victim. Byrd, who was located inside the reisdence was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
Amy C Turner, 42 years of age, Address: Fourth St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 08/19/2016 @ 7:04pm.
Charge: Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Erica Alexander, 33 years of age, Address: Guzzetta Lane Berwick, La. was arrested on 08/19/2016 @ 6:45pm.
Charges: Posssession of Synthetic Marijuana

Warrant - Failure to Appear on 06/28/16 for Driving Under Suspension

Officers responded to a local drug store on Seventh St. in regard to two females that had attempted to steal items from inside the store. The officers arrived when they located Erica Alexander and Amy C Turner who matched the description provided. During an investigation, the officers located a vehicle in the parking lot which was believed to have been occuppied by Turner and Alexander. A search of the vehicle was conducated when officers located suspected synthetic marijuana and drug paraphernalia. A warrants check revealed that Alexander had active arrest warrants through the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Both Turner and Alexander were placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where they were booked and incarcerated.
Gary Mitchell, 56 years of age, Address: Canary St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 08/19/2016 @ 9:01pm.
Charge: Simple Battery
Officers responded to a residence on Canary Street in regard to a reported battery. The officers arrived where they spoke with a subject later identified as the victim of a battery along with several wtinesses. The officers were told that Gary Mitchell and the victim were involved in an argument when Mitchell was alleged to have committed a battery on the victim. Mitchell, who was present during the investigation was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
Renee K Harris, 44 years of age, Address: Levee Rd. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 08/20/2016 @ 9:00pm.
Charges: Possession of Schedule IV CDS (Tramadol)
Theft of Goods
An officer responded to a local super market on Hwy 182 in regard to a call of a shoplifter. The officer arrived and spoke with store employees who told the officer that Renee K Harris was oberved inside the store taking several items from the shelf and attempting to leave without paying. The officers located Harris when according to reports several of the alleged stolen items were located on Harris. During the search, Harris was also found to possess suspected Tramadol a schedule IV contrtolled dangerous substance. Harris was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.
Robbie S Tolbert, 46 years of age, Address: Gray, La. was arrested on 08/21/2016 @ 5:00am.
Charge: Driving While Intoxicated
An officer responded to Hwy 182 in regard to a call of a suspected drunk driver. The officer arrived and located a vehicle matching the description provided. A traffic stop was conducted when the driver of the vehicle was identified as Robbie S Tolbert. During an investigation, reports indicate that Tolbert was suspected to have been drinking and was believed to be intoxicated. Tolbert was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for futher chemical testing where Tolbert submitted to the Intoxilyzer 5000 yield a blood alcohol concentration of .102 grams percent. Tolbert was placed under arrest and booked into the Morgan City Jail where he was incarcerated.
Nicole B Gilmore, 41 years of age, Address: Onstead St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 08/212016 @ 11:47pm.

Driving Under Suspension
A patrolling officer observed a vehicle traveling on Federal Avenue with a broken tail light. A traffic stop was conducted when the driver of the vehicle was identified as Nicole B Gilmore. A drivers license check revealed that Gilmore had a suspended drivers license. Gilmore was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.
