Lloyd L Singleton Jr. was located by officers on Egle Street where he was arrested on an active arrest warrant held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Singleton Jr. was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
Corey D Steel, 47 years of age, Address: Railroad Ave. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 12/02/2016 @ 2:35pm.
Charge: Warrant - Hit and Run
Corey D Steel turned himself in at the Morgan City Police Department in regard to an active arrest warrant held by Morgan City Police. The warrant was obtained from an investigation conducted by Morgan City Police of an incident reported on November 27, 2016 of an alleged hit and run. Steel was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.
Tommy D Donati II, 34 years of age, Address: Carter Ln. Berwick, La. was arrested on 12/02/2016 @ 4:31pm.

Nathan D Chaisson, 26 years of age, Address: Duke St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 12/02/2016 @ 4:31pm.
Charge: Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
The Morgan City Police Department Narcotics Division along with the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Officer Narcotics Division executed a search warrant at a residence on Duke Street. The warrant was obtained from an investigation conducted by Morgan City Police Narcotics Detectives of illegal drug activity at the residence. Tommy D Donati II and Nathan D Chaisson were identified as two of the occupants at the residence. Reports indicate that a search was conducted with investigators located suspected methamphetamine, MDMA (ecstasy) which was believed to be prepared for distribution, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The location of the incident was within the area of a drug free zone in violation of uniformed controlled dangerous substance laws. Both Donati II and Chaisson were placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where they were booked and incarcerated.
Kathy Shaub, 35 years of age, Address: Third St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 12/03/2016 @ 1:00am.
Charge: Possession of Stolen Property
Kathy Shaub was located by officers at a residence on Songe Street where she was arrested on an active arrest warrant held by the Morgan City Police Department. The warrant was obtained from an investigation conducted by Morgan City Police Detectives and an incident reported on November 11, 2016 of alleged possession of stolen property. Shaubb was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where she was booked and incarcerated.

A patrolling officer conducted a traffic stop on Second Street in regard to a vehicle having illegal window tint where Jason W Cooper was identified as an occupant of the vehicle. During an investigation, reports indicate that Cooper's behavior aroused the officer's suspicions that Cooper may be involved in illegal drug activity. A search was conducted when the officer located suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia on Cooper. Cooper was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
Edy Rivera, 32 years of age, Address: Railroad Ave. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 12/03/2016 @ 11:36pm.

Officers responded to the U.S. 90 bridge in regard to a vehicle traveling east in the west bound lane. The officers arriving when they located a heavily damage vehicle on the U.S. 90 bridge near the Hwy 182 exit which was believed to have been involved in an accident. It was learned from witnesses that the suspect vehicle had struck the vehicle on U.S. 90 and fled the scene continuing to travel east in the west bound lane. Reports indicate that an off duty police officer had who had witnessed incident followed the vehicle where it pulled into the rear of a business on Hwy 90 in Bayou Vista where the driver was detained by the off duty officer until responding units arrived. Officers arrived when the driver of the vehicle was identified as Edy Rivera who according to reports was suspected to have been drinking and was believed to be intoxicated. Rivera was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for further chemical testing where Rivera submitted to the Intoxilyzer 5000 yielding a blood alcohol concentration of .204 grams percent. Rivera was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.
Jedidiah D Meredith, 30 years of age, Address: Spring Lake Dr. Terry, Ms. was arrested on 12/03/2016 @ 11:37pm.
Charges: Domestic Abuse Child Endangerment
Officers responded to an address on Roderick Street in regard to a reported domestic disturbance. The officers arrived when they located Jedidiah D Meredith along with a female who appeared to have been the victim of a battery and a small juvenile child. During an investigation, reports indicate that the officer were told the Meredith and the female where involved in an argument when Meredith allegedly committed a battery on the female while in the presence of the juvenile child. Meredith who was suspected to have been drinking and appeared to be intoxicated was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
Matthew J Garces, 26 years of age, Address: Carter St. Berwick, La. was arrested on 12/04/2016 @ 2:00am.

Warrant - Failure to Appear for Arraignment (LaFourche Parish)
A patrolling officer observed a vehicle be operated recklessly spinning is tires on Hwy near David Drive. The officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop when the driver of the vehicle refused to stop. Reports indicate that the vehicle traveled onto Justa Street then onto Allison Street to Martin Luther King Blvd failing to stop for several stop signs. The vehicle then got onto US 90 west where it continued running from officers in access speeds of over 110 mph over the bridge and into Berwick. Officers continued following the vehicle through several streets in Berwick when the driver of the vehicle lost control and struck a utility pole in the area of Sixth Street at Verson Street causing a power outage for several city blocks. The driver of the vehicle was then taken into custody and identified by officers as Matthew J Garces. Reports indicate that during checks, it was learned that Garces had a suspended drivers license and that he also had an active arrest warrant with the LaFourche Parish Sheriff's Office. Garces was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
Djuanranique D Diggs, 25 years of age, Address: Collie St. Franklin, La. was arrested on 12/04/2016 @ 2:50am.
Charge: Possession of Marijuana
Officers responded to a local convenience store on Hwy 182 in regard to the vehicle containing illegal narcotics. As officers arrived, a vehicle matching the above description was observed getting onto Hwy 182. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver of the vehicle identified as Djuanranique D Diggs. Diggs was advised of the complaint and gave officers consent to search the vehicle. During the search, reports indicate that suspected marijuana was located inside the vehicle. Diggs was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Carl Davis, 32 years of age, Address: Donaldsonville, La. was arrested on 12/04/2016 @ 5:12pm.

Officers responded to a medical facility on Hwy 70 in regard to a fight. The officers arrived and identified Charles D Riley and Carl Davis as the two subject involved in the encounter. Reports indicate that evidence of the alleged fight was uncovered by the officers when both Riley and Davis were placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where they were booked and incarcerated.
Melanie Ruffin, 45 years of age, Address: Robin St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 12/05/2016 @ 5:23pm.
Charge: Aggravated Assault
Officers responded to a residence on Robin Street in regard to a reported disturbance. The officers arrived and identified Melanie Ruffin as one of the subject involved in the disturbance. During an investigation, reports indicate that officers were told that Ruffin and a male individual were involved in an argument when Ruffin was alleged to have threatened the male with a knife. Evidence of the alleged assault was uncovered by officers when Ruffin was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.
