Carly Sudan, 36 years of age, Address: Leona St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 12/05/2016 @ 8:30am.
Charge: Disturbing the Peace by Fighting
Linda M Fontenot, 29 years of age, Address: Rue Royal Rd. Franklin, La. was arrested on 12/05/2016 @ 8:30am.
Charge: Disturbing the Peace by Fighting
Carly Sudan and Linda M Fontenot who were incarcerated in the Morgan City Jail were booked on additional charges of disturbing the peace by fighting. On 12/05/2016 correctional officers responded to a cell in regard to two females fighting. The offices identified Carly Sudan and Linda M Fontenot as the two females involved. An investigation was conducted and according to reports evidence of the alleged fight was uncovered by the officers. Sudan and Fontenot were booked on the additional chargers and remain incarcerated.
Jerry L Percle Jr., 48 years of age, Address: Canton St. Berwick, La. was arrested on 12/05/2016 @ 11:49am.
Charge: Theft of Utilities
Jerry L Percle Jr. was transported from the Berwick Police Department to the Morgan City Police Department in regard to an active arrest warrant held by the Morgan City Police Department. The warrant was obtained from an investigation conducted by Morgan City Police of an incident reported on November 23, 2016 of alleged theft of utilities. Percle Jr. was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.
Laqwaijha M Bourgeois, 19 years of age, Address: Federal Ave. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 12/05/2016 @ 1:48pm.

Battery on a School Teacher
Laniya Grogan, 19 years of age, Address: Cardinal St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 12/05/2016 @ 1:48pm.
Charge: Disturbing the Peace by Fighting
Officers responded to a local educational facility on Hickory Street in regard to a fight between students. The officers arrived and identified Laqwaijha M Bourgeois and Laniya Grogan. Officers were told that during the altercation a teacher attempted to separate Bourgeois and Grogan when Bourgeois committed a battery on the teacher. An investigation was conducted and according reports evidence of the alleged fight and battery was uncovered by the officers. Both Bourgeois and Grogan were placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where they were booked and incarcerated.
Colby L Freeman, 42 years of age, Address: Patterson St. Lafayette, La. was arrested on 12/06/2016 @ 2:00am.
Charges: Improper Turning
Driving Under Suspension
A patrolling officer observed a vehicle make an improper turn at the intersection of Brashear Avenue and Ninth Street. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver of the vehicle identified as Colby L Freeman. A drivers license check revealed that Freeman had a suspended drivers license. Freeman was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
