Arrest Report 01/22/2014

    The following were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning 01/21/2014:

 

  Rashad N. Guidroz 01212014  Rashad N. Guidroz, 19 years of age, Address-Morgan City, Louisiana was arrested on 01/21/2014 @ 3:25pm

Charge: Failure to Appear- Possession of Marijuana, Failure to Appear-Possession of CDS in presence of persons under 17 yoa

     Rashad Guidroz was turned into the Morgan City Police Department by a bonding company for failing to appear in court on various charges.  He was booked into the Morgan City Jail Facility and remains incarcerated. 

 

 

 

   Jamal Guidroz 01212014  Jamal K. Guidroz, 24 years of age, Address-Morgan City, Louisiana was arrested on 01/21/2014 @ 3:25pm

Charges: Failure to Appear-Possession of Marijuana; Failure to Appear-Possession of CDS in presence of persons under 17 yoa

     Jamal Guidroz was turned into the Morgan City Police Department by a bonding company for failing to appear in court on various charges. He was booked in the Morgan City Jail Facility and remains incarcerated. 

 

 

 

 

  Jose Morales 01212014   Jose M. Morales, 35 years of age, Address-Franklin St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 01/21/2014 @ 5:03pm

Charge: Warrant: Possession of Schedule II CDS with the Intent to Distirbute; Warrant: Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

     Jose Morales was located and arrested by Detectives on an outstanding warrant stemming from an investigation involving illegal narcotics activity which began in January 2014.  Detectives were able to secure the warrant based on evidence and witnesses statements that Morales was in possession of a Schedule II CDS-Cocaine.  He was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked aind remains incarcerated. 

 

 

 

Ricky L. Duval 01212014     Ricky Duval, 32 years of age, Address-Park Rd. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 01/21/2014 @ 6:34pm

Charge: Theft by Shoplifting (Value $124.94)

     An off duty officer working security at a local supermarket was summoned for assistance in regards to a subject, identified as Ricky Duval who was reported to have removed a bag from the cash register area without permission.  The officer observed Duval fill the bag with food items and attempt to leave the store without paying for the items.  Duval was detained by the officer.  The items were recovered and he was placed under arrest.  He was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated. 

 

 

 

Carmen S. Bosarge 01212014     Carmen S. Bosarge, 46 years of age, Address-Terrebone St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 01/21/2014 @ 10:01pm

Charge: Operating a Vehicle while Intoxicated; Careless Operation

     Officers were dispatched to Terrebone Street regarding a vehicle crash.  Officers arrived and were able to determine that Carmen Bosarge, while operating a vehicle struck a parked car along the roadway.  Bosarge exhibited signs of impairment and upon investigation, it was learned that Bosarge had taken medication which may have been a factor in the crash.  Bosarge was given a field sobriety test in which she did poorly on a given an Intoxilyzer 5000 test which indicated that Bosarge was not under the influence of alcohol.  Further testing was performed and the results of that test are pending.  Bosarge was booked and incarcerated. 

 

 

 Bruce Gould 01222014    Bruce A. Gould, 19 years of age, Address-Gen MacArthur, Morgan City, La. was arrested on 01/22/2014 @ 2:18am

Charge: Possession of Marijuana

 

 

 

 

 

 

  Deshawn Moore 012222014   Deshawn Moore, 18 years of age, Address-Third St. Morgan City, Louisiana was arrested on 01/22/2014 @ 2:18am

Charge: Possession of Marijana

 

 

 

 

 

   Officers were dispatched to a vehicle playing loud music in the area of Barrow St. and Second.  The suspect vehicle was located and found occupied by Deshawn Moor and Bruce Gold.  During the stop, suspected marijuana was located.  Both subjects were arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where they were incarcerated.
