     Bret J. Keton, 19 years of age, Address-Filmore St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 01/22/2014 @ 8:26pm

Charge: Warrant: Failure to Appear-Urinating in Public; Warrant: St. Mary-Failure to Appear for Drug Court-Possession of Marijuana; Warrant: St. Mary-Failure to Appear for Possession of Synthetic Marijuana

     Bret Keton was located on Highway 182 and placed under arrest on outstanding warrants for the City Court of Morgan City as well as the St. Mary Parish Drug Court.  He was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated. 

 

      

     Ginger L. Conner, 42 years of age, Address-Ernul, North Carolina was arrested on 01/23/2014 @ 2:26am

Charge: Prostitution; Possession of Schedule II CDS-Methamphetamine; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

 

 

 

 

 

     Shanna Orgeron, 20 years of age, Address-Bowman St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 01/23/2014 @ 2:26am

     Shante Miller, 32 years of age, Address-Audry St. New Orleans, La. was arrested on 01/23/2014 @ 2:26am

     Jamie G. Harris, 31 years of age, Address-Virgil Blvd. New Orleans, La. was arrested on 01/23/2014 @ 2:26am

Charge: Soliciting for Prostitution; Possession of Schedule II CDS-Methamphetamine; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

 

 

 

 

 

     Sean C. McBean, 41 years of age, Address-Ridgeway Blvd. New Orleans, La. was arrested on 01/23/2014 @ 2:26am

Charge: Inciting Prostitution; Posession of Schedule II CDs-Methamphetamine with the Intent to Distribute; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

 

 

 

 

 

     Detectives with the Morgan City Police Department began an investigation regarding a suspected prostitution operating which utilized the internet to solicit and lure potential clients to a local motel.  Investigators were able to use the internet to confirm the existence of the illegal activity and begin their investigation,  During the investigation, detectives, posing as potential clients made contact with the subjects and where able to gather evidence which cooberated the information received.  Detectives, with the assistance of the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Department detained the subjects.  The subjects were identified as females Ginger Conner of North Carolina, Shanna Orgeron of Morgan City,  and male subjects, Sean McBean and Jamie Harris of New Orleans.  The male subjects were suspected of using the internet to solicit and lure clients to the room and using the females to provide prostitution services.  The subjects, along with a third female, identified as Shante Miller were found to be in possession of a Schedule II CDS-Methamphetamine, a controlled dangerous substance.  All subjects were transported to the Morgan City Police Department where they were booked and incarcerated.  The Morgan City Police Department remains committed to using various means, including the internet, to uncover any illegal activity.  Should you have any information, tips or concerns, please contact the Morgan City Police Department @ 985-480-4605 or your local law enforcement agency.
