MCPD Arrest Report 02/09/2017
The following persons were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning on 02/07/2017.
Donte J Harris, 21 years of age, Address: Mount St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on02/07/2017 @ 9:24pm.
Charges: Possession of Schedule I CDS MDMA (ecstasy)
Possession of Schedule IV CDS (xanax)
Criminal Trespassing
Resisting An Officer
Violation of Uniformed Controlled Dangerous Substance Laws (Drug Free Zone)
Disturbing the Peace - Intoxicated
Warrant - Failure to Appear on 05/04/2016 for Theft
Warrant - Parole Violation
Officers responded to a residence on Louisa Street in regard of a subject inside the complainants back yard. The officers arrived when they located the complainant who was an off duty officer who had already detained a subject identified as Donte J Harris. The officers were told that Harris was observed in the rear yard of the off duty officer. The off duty officer identified himself as law enforcement when Harris began to flee from the officer according to reports. A foot chase ensued through several yards when the off duty officer apprehended Harris moments later. Harris was placed under arrest and searched when officers located suspected MDMA (ecstasy) and xanax on Harris according to reports. A warrants check was conducted and it was revealed that the 16th Judicial District Court held arrest warrants on Harris. Reports indicated that the location of the incident was within the area of a drug free zone and Harris was suspected to have been intoxicated. Harris was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
Peter E Grogan Jr., 38 years of age, Address: Railroad Ave. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 02/08/2017 @ 3:05pm.

Peter E Grogan was located by officers at a residence on Railroad Avenue where he was arrested on several active arrest warrant held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court and the 16th Judicial District Court. Grogan was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
Regan Rebardi, 39 years of age, Address: Roderick St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 02/08/2017 @ 3:19pm.
Charges: Improper Supervision of Juveniles
Encouraging or Contributing to the Delinquency of Juveniles
Criminal Neglect of Family
Regan Rebardi was arrested in the 6th Ward Morgan City Court during courtroom proceedings. During proceedings, reports indicated that evidence was uncovered by the courts of alleged improper supervision of juveniles, encouraging and or contributing to the delinquency of juveniles and criminal neglect of family. Rebardi booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.
Jacob N Klenert, 23 years of age, Address: South Everett St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 02/08/2017 @ 6:21pm.
Charge: Warrant - Failure to Appear on 12/06/2016 for Possession of Marijuana
Jacob N Klenert was located by officers at a residence on Seventh Street where he was arrested on an active arrest warrant held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Klenert was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
