The following persons were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning on 02/24/2017.
Brodie Boudreaux, 23 years of age, Address: McDermott Dr. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 02/24/2017 @ 6:51am.
Charges: Possession of Schedule IV CDS (Alprazolam)
Possession of Schedule IV CDS ( Phentermine Hydrocloride)
Possession of Schedule III CDS ( Acetaminophen)
Violation of Uniformed Controlled Dangerous Substance Laws (Drug Free Zone)
Officers responded to the area of Keith Street near Allison Street in regard to a call of a suspicious subject who was walking through several residential yards. The officers arrived and located a subject matching the description provided identified as Brodie Boudreaux. During an investigation, reports indicated that Boudreaux's behavior aroused the officers suspicions that he may be involved in illegal drug activity. Boudreaux was searched when the officer located suspected Alprazolam, Phentermine Hydrocloride and Acetaminophen. The location of the incident was within the area of a drug free zone in violation of uniformed controlled dangerous substance laws. Boudreaux was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
Jonathan E Thomas, 24 years of age, Address: Enterprise Dr. Patterson, La. was arrested on 02/25/2017 @ 2:27am.
Charges: Warrant - Failure to Appear on 05/17/2016 for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Warrant - Probation Violation
Jonathan E Thomas was transported from the Berwick Police Department to the Morgan City Police Department in regard to active arrest warrant held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Thomas was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

Possession of an Open Alcoholic Beverage Inside Vehicle
A patrolling officer observed a vehicle make an improper turn at the intersection of Sixth Street and Ditch Avenue. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver of the vehicle identified as Erick Deleon. During a traffic investigation, reports indicated that the officer observed an open container of an alcoholic beverage inside the vehicle and it was learned that Deleon did not have a valid driver license. Deleon was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
James Henry, 63 years of age, Address: Wren St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 02/25/2017 @ 10:33am.
Charges: Simple Battery
Criminal Damage to Property
Officers responded to a local grocery store on Marguerite Street in regard to a reported battery and damage to property complaint. The officers arrived and spoke with store employees and witness to the incident. The officer was told that there was a subject inside the store who became irate causing a disturbance. The officer was told that the irate subject committed a battery on an individual and then caused several items from a shelve to fall to the floor damaging the items. The officer was then directed by witnesses to a subject inside the store who matched the description who was detained and identified as James Henry. During an investigation, evidence of the alleged incident was uncovered by the officer. Henry was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
Jose Vasquez, 25 years of age, Address: Levee Rd. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 02/25/2017 @ 9:30pm.
Charges: Improper Tail Lights
No Drivers License
A patrolling officer observed a vehicle traveling in the area of Federal Avenue and Leona Street with improper tail lighting. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver of the vehicle identified as Jose Vasquez. A drivers license check was conducted when it was learned that Vasquez did not have a valid driver license according to reports. Vasquez was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
Kevin Verret, 36 years of age, Address: Ponchatoula, La. was arrested on 02/26/2017 @ 12:20am.

Kevin Verret was located by officers in the area of Cedar Street near Hickory Street where he was arrested on active arrest warrants with the 6th Ward Morgan City Court and the 23rd Judicial District Court. Verret was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
Bryce J Tabor, 22 years of age, Address: Hendricks St. Patterson, La. was arrested on 02/26/2017 @ 2:17am.

Bryce J Tabor was located by officers in the area of Front Street and Railroad Avenue where he was arrested on active arrest warrants held by the Morgan City Police Department. The warrants were obtained from an investigation conducted by Morgan City Police of an incident on August 7, 2016 where Tabor was alleged to be in possession of Marijuana and drug paraphernalia while in a drug free zone. Tabor was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
Jose T Ainsworth, 48 years of age, Address: Hwy 182 Morgan City, La. was arrested on 02/26/2017 @ 7:42pm.

No Reflectors on Bicycle
A patrolling officer observed a subject on Victor II Blvd. traveling without any required safety reflectors. A stop was conducted and the driver of the bicycle identified as Jose T Ainsworth. During a traffic investigation, reports indicated that Ainsworth's behavior aroused the officer's suspicions that Ainsworth may be involved in illegal drug activity. A search was conducted when the officer located suspected marijuana on Ainsworth. Ainsworth was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
