Arrest Report 01/29/2014

The following were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning 01/27/2014:

Michael Pociecha, 46 years of age, Address-Mauldin, S.C. was arrested on 01/27/201

Charge:  Careless Operation

     Pociecha was arrested after officers responded to a vehicle crash on Highway 182 and Halsey St.  Pociecha was the driver of a vehicle which collided with another vehicle while being driven in a careless manner.  Pociecha was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated. 

 

Kimberly R. Harris, 41 years of age, Address-Levee Rd. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 01/28/2014 @ 3:08pm

Charge: Theft of Goods (Value $67.85); Warrant: Failure to Appear-Theft by Shoplifting

     Kimberly Harris was detained by store employees of a Brashear Ave. grocery store after she was observed concealing food items in a bag.  The items were valued at $67.85.  She was also found to be wanted on an outstanding warrant for failure to appear for theft by shoplifting.  She was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where she was booked and incarcerated. 

 

 Joaqusha N. Mingo, 28 years of age, Address-Ciro St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 01/28/2014 @ 8:06pm

Charge: Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (2nd Offense)

     Joaqusha Mingo was arrested after she was detained by officers in the area of Highway 182.  She was found to possess a pipe commonly used to use illegal narcotics and was arrested.  She was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where she was booked and incarcerated.
