MCPD Arrest Report 03/29/2017
The following persons were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning on 03/28/2017:
Nelly D. Montoya, 39 years of age, address: Harbinwood Dr. Norcross, GA, arrested on 03/28/2017 @ 3:01 p.m.
Charges: Use of Telecommunications Device in a School Zone
No Driver’s License
Patrolling officers observed a driver in the area of Roderick St. operating a cellular device within a school zone. Officers initiated a stop and came in contact with Nelly D. Montoya. During the investigation officers learned that Montoya did not hold a valid driver’s license. Montoya was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.
Kevin J. Diggs, 38 years of age, address: Roy’s Ln. Franklin, La, arrested on 03/28/2017 @ 6:00 p.m.
Charges: Warrant: F.T.A for Arraignment on 09/20/2016 (No Insurance)
Warrant: F.T.A for Arraignment on 09/20/2016 (Driving under Suspension)
Warrant: F.T.A for Arraignment on 09/20/2016 (Obstructing Drivers View)
Kevin J. Diggs was located and arrested at the Morgan City Police Department on active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Diggs was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.
