MCPD Arrest Report 05/02/2017

Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour reporting period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 44 calls for service. The following persons were arrested as a result during the last reporting period beginning on 05/01/2017:

Randy G. Clark, 30 years of age, address: Friendship Alley, Amelia, La, arrested on 05/01/2017 @ 8:29 a.m.

Charges: Driving under Suspension

Patrol officers observed a vehicle being operated in the area of Chennault St. According to reports the officer was familiar with the operator, who was known as Randy G. Clark, and had knowledge that Clark’s driver’s license was under suspension. That information was confirmed and a stop was initiated. Clark was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Ashton Allen 05012017

Ashton Allen, 25 years of age, address: LA 182 Morgan City, La, arrested on 05/01/2017 @ 4:30 p.m. 

Charges: Possession of Methamphetamine W/I/T/D
                  Possession of SCH III (Buprenorphine Hydrochloride)
                  Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
                  Possession of CDS in the presence of Juveniles
                  Violation of Uniform CDS Law (Drug Free Zone)
                  Warrant: Possession of SCH IV (Alprazolam) W/I/T/D
                  Warrant: Possession of Marijuana
                  Warrant: Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
                  Warrant: Violation of Uniform CDS Law (Drug Free Zone)

Investigators with the Morgan City Police Department Narcotics Division responded to a residence on LA 182 in regards to an Ashton Allen who held active arrest warrants through the Morgan City Police. Investigators made contact with Allen at the residence and according to reports while speaking with him items of drug paraphernalia and suspected methamphetamine were observed. Search of the residence produced more drug paraphernalia, suspected methamphetamine, and suspected Buprenorphine Hydrochloride. Evidence was uncovered during the investigation that the methamphetamine was intended to be sold. There were also two small children present at the time of the incident. According to reports the warrants stem from an investigation conducted by patrol officers in April of 2017 when Allen was found to be in possession of suspected alprazolam, suspected marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. Warrants were prepared for Allen’s arrest. Both of these incident occurred within a Drug Free Zone. Allen was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated. 

Kristi K. Adams, 37 years of age, address: Emy Ln. Patterson, La, arrested on 05/01/2017 @ 8:28 p.m.

Charges: Disturbing the Peace

Patrol officers responded to a residence on Railroad Ave. in regards to a disturbance. Officers arrived and according to reports Kristi K. Adams was identified as the suspect and she allegedly approached the residence causing a disturbance. Adams was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Bobby Faulk Jr., 34 years of age, address: West Ave. Larose, La, arrested on 05/01/2017 @ 9:15 p.m.

Charges: Disturbing the Peace Intoxicated

Patrol officers responded to a local business in the area of LA 182 in regards to a complaint. Officers arrived and according to reports Bobby Faulk Jr. was located and found to be in an intoxicated state. Faulk was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Kenneth Morris, 19 years of age, address: Robin St. Morgan City, La, arrested on 05/01/2017 @ 10:25 p.m.

Charges: Possession of Marijuana
                  Violation of Uniform CDS Law (Drug Free Zone)

Investigators with the Morgan City Police Department Narcotics Division came in contact with Kenneth Morris in the area of Canary St. According to reports upon speaking with Morris an odor of marijuana was detected. Morris was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana. The area where this incident had taken place was within a Drug Free Zone. Morris was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
