MCPD Arrest Report 05/09/2017

Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour reporting period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 37 calls for service. The following persons were arrested as a result during the last reporting period beginning on 05/08/2017:

Alejandro Avila-Pedraza, 49 years of age, address: Pugh Ct. Houma, La, arrested on 05/08/2017 @ 12:08 p.m.

Charges:
Identity Theft
                 Filing or Maintaining False Public Records
                 Forgery
                 Production of Fraudulent Documents for Identification Purposes

Alejandro Avila-Pedraza was arrested by the Louisiana State Police Criminal Investigations Division when they were alerted to the Department of Motor Vehicles due to a subject allegedly attempting to obtain identification with fraudulent paper work. Avila-Pedraza was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Herman Butler 05092017
Herman Butler, 29 years of age, address: Martin Luther King St. Patterson, La, arrested on 05/08/2017 @ 3:51 p.m.

Charges: Possession of Cocaine W/I/T/D
                  Possession of SCH IV CDS (Alprazolam)
                  Violation of Uniform CDS Law (Drug Free Zone)

Investigators with the Morgan City Police Department Narcotics Division responded to a residence on Egle St. in regards to drug activity. According to reports during the investigation Herman Butler was found to be in possession of suspected crack cocaine and alprazolam. Evidence was uncovered during the investigation that Butler was involved in the illicit sales of illegal narcotics. The area where the incident took place was within a Drug Free Zone. Butler was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Deondray A. Thomas, 29 years of age, address: Lena St. Lafayette, La, arrested on 05/08/2017 @ 8:39 p.m.

Andrew M. Watson, 24 years of age, address: Lena St. Lafayette, La, arrested on 05/08/2017 @ 8:41 p.m.

Charges: Warrant: Probation Violation

                  Warrant: F.T.A. to Pay Fine on 08/21/2014
                  Warrant: F.T.A. to Pay Fine on 09/16/2014

Investigators with the Morgan City Police Department Narcotics Division initiated a stop on a vehicle in the area of Hickory St. due to a signaling violation. According to reports Deondray A. Thomas and Andrew M. Watson were identified as the occupants of the vehicle. It was learned that both Thomas and Watson held active warrants for their arrest through the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia was also located during the investigation that allegedly belonged to Thomas. Both Thomas and Watson were arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where they were booked and incarcerated.

Anna V. Concienne, 33 years of age, address: Clenets St. Patterson, La, arrested on 05/09/2017 @ 1:37 a.m.

Charges: Possession of Marijuana

                  No Drivers License
                  Improper Lighting

Chris J. Boudreaux, 50 years of age, address: McDermott Dr. Morgan City, La, arrested on 05/09/2017 @ 1:37 a.m.

Charges: Possession of Marijuana
                  Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
                  Open Container
                  Violation of Uniform CDS Law (Drug Free Zone)

Patrol officers observed a vehicle being operated in the area of Roderick St. with improper lighting. A stop was initiated and Anna V. Concienne and Chris J. Boudreaux were identified as the occupants of the vehicle. According to reports it was learned that Concienne did not have a valid driver’s license. Suspected marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and open containers were located during the investigation. The area where this incident took place is within a Drug Free Zone. Concienne and Boudreaux was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where they were booked and incarcerated.
