MCPD Arrest Report 05/10/2017
Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour reporting period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 42 calls for service. The following persons were arrested as a result during the last reporting period beginning on 05/09/2017:
Harrison Short, 51 years of age, address: Mallard St. Morgan City, La, arrested on 05/09/2017 @ 8:24 p.m.
Charges: Theft under $750
Disturbing the Peace Intoxicated
Patrol officers responded to a business in the area of LA 182 in regards to a theft. According to reports officers arrived and Harrison Short was identified as committing a theft. Officers located Short in the area who was found to be in an intoxicated state. Short was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
Esmin Suazo, 29 years of age, address: Shrimpers Dr., Dulac, La, arrested on 05/10/2017 @ 1:49 a.m.
Charges: Driving under Suspension
No Insurance
Patrol officers observed a vehicle traveling in the area of Front St. disregard a traffic control. According to reports a stop was initiated and Esmin Suazo was identified as the operator of the vehicle. During the investigation it was learned that Suazo’s driver’s license was suspended and the vehicle was not properly insured. Suazo was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
