MCPD Arrest Report 05/17/2017
Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour reporting period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 39 calls for service. The following persons were arrested as a result during the last reporting period beginning on 05/16/2017:
Lawrence J. Gash Jr., 30 years of age, address: Duke St. Morgan City, La, arrested on 05/16/2017 7:48 p.m.
Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. for Arraignment on 03/30/2016
Warrant: F.T.A. for Contempt of Court Hearing on 11/05/2015
Lawrence J. Gash Jr. was located and arrested in the area of 6th St. on active arrest warrants held by the 16th Judicial Court. Gash was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
Heidi Maize, 34 years of age, address: Mallard St. Morgan City, La, arrested on 05/16/2017 @ 9:59 p.m.
Charges: Driving under Suspension
Failure to Dim Headlights
Patrol officers observed a vehicle being operated in the area of Bowman St. with high beam lights activated. A stop was initiated and Heidi Maize was identified as the operator of the vehicle. According to reports, it was found that Maize’s driver’s license was under suspension. Maize was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.
Jonathan P. Justilian, 27 years of age, address: N. First St. Morgan City, La, arrested on 05/16/2017 @ 10:15 p.m.
Charges: Simple Battery
Aggravated Assault
Patrol officers responded to the area of N. First St. in regards to a disturbance. According to reports officers arrived and learned that Jonathan P. Justilian was identified as a suspect who allegedly threatened the victims with a firearm and committed a battery on another victim. Justilian was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
